    - Going through Taco Bell drive thru, ordering and paying for a Taco Supreme getting back to work and there's no sour cream one of my three hard shell tacos

    - People who use verse instead of versus

    - Co-workers with kids getting to leave work early for Halloween but us no kid havers have to stay a full day. It seems like preferential treatment to me.

Funny story regarding this. Last year my nephew who was 9 at the time was named the MVP of his football team or league (I forget which, though I think it was team) after his team went undefeated and won the championship. Well, he got a plaque presumably made by the school district which runs the team and it had the line "He refused to lose" referring to my nephew, but it had "lose" spelled "Loose"

Hell, even video game developers make that mistake. in NASCAR Heat 2 career mode you sometimes get twitter @ mentions from competitor drivers offering advice or commenting on your recent performance. After making the Chase in the Truck series, I got one such message saying "Don't lose focus" except, you guessed it, "lose" was spelled "loose" :
Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII
            Penguins : 1990/91, 1991/92, 2008/09, 20015/16, 2016/17
            Pirates : 1909, 1925, 1960, 1971, 1979
            Panthers (FB): 1915, 1916, 1918, 1929, 1931, 1934, 1936, 1937, 1976
            Panthers (MBB): 1927/28, 1929/30

Allegedly resealable bags that have such a shoddy seal that you spend a minute trying to re-close the bag you just opened only to pour the entire contents into a separate Ziploc or slider bag instead. This seems especially rampant with pet products (dog treats and such).

I've been thinking about misspellings lately and how much I hate my own mistakes over those of others. Usually as long as I understand what someone means I don't care if they mess stuff up. But if I screw up "their, there, they're" I can't edit myself fast enough

I agree that I hate it more when I make a mistake than when others do, but if someone doesn't seem to have a basic grasp of English, it definitely affects my view of that person. Of course, you can easily tell the difference between just a one-off typo as someone's banging out a longer post and someone else who just writes at a 3rd grade level. It's the latter types that I sometimes wonder how they even survive as grownups (or even college kids). How do you effectively apply for a job if you can't represent yourself adequately in a short piece of writing? Are their math skills as bad as their writing? Can they balance a checkbook? How does one make important decisions if unable to read/write and process information at an adult level? So many questions, and I get that these people would probably say that I, and other people with perhaps an excessive an eye for detail, grind their gears.

                          Shopping:
-Wherever you stand is the exact spot someone needs to go. Always. I could need to check something on phone, so I go to empty aisle, move aside and check. Out of nowhere someone will come to that exact aisle and need to look at the 1 item I'm blocking. Never fails.

-Store not having item in store or online in my size but they have literally every other size.

I could be about to check out at the register and just need that one last thing only to find someone camped out in front of that aisle checking their phone. It doesn't matter which aisle I go to, there is always someone there checking a phone and blocking commerce.

yeah lol it definitely works both ways, I hate when someone is in the spot where I need to be, and I also hate being in the spot where someone else needs to be.

the thing is, when I realize I'm where someone else needs to be, I try and hurry and get out of the way, but when someone else is in my spot, they take their sweet *** time

*bonus edit: come to think of it, that person occupying my desired space is probably posting on OS right now (Operation Seniors) about how he taught some whipper snapper a lesson about respect. "I could tell he wanted to grab some ramen, so I made sure to pretend I was oblivious and check out the labels and act confused and nudge my cart toward the middle of the aisle so if he wanted to walk by he'd have to ask politely. Pfft kids these days."

My lunchtime basketball gripe - Some day's we barely have enough to play 4 on 4, then you have other days (like today) where we have 14 guys that want to play (so far). There's never any in-between with these people.
