I'd agree, but I've honestly never seen this before. In fact, I think they normally automatically swing shut.

They are hinged/weighted to do so, but I've seen it several times where some idiotic customer doesn't notice the door is not working properly and leaves it completely wide open. Alas, some human has to manually close it.

When I am an idiot and let Sunday's meal prep trash sit a whole week. It didn't stink and wasn't full so I didn't bother taking it out. Well come Saturday I found out that you should probably go ahead and take any trash out every 3 days. Let's just say some little white guys were making a break for it.

People turning left from a side street who think the middle left turn lane on the main road is used to turn into then merge. No, that is not what that lane is for at all.

Totally. Kinda makes it difficult for number 2.

                      Jury duty

I shouldn't feel too bad. I am in my late 20s and this is the first time I've ever gotten a summons.

I'd legitimately be the worst jury member ever. I have a short attention span, easily zone out, and my back would start to hurt from sitting in what I assume aren't very ergonomic chairs all day. On top of not wanting to be there in the first place.

I'd be the worst one too. I have no knowledge of court cases or laws or any of these types of things. I would have no idea what to do during the entire thing.

I actually enjoyed it (3 day case). Really easy. Some sketchy guy had his car loaded up with every possession and was causing a problem at a convenience store parking lot. Cops got called, searched his car, and found a sawed off shotgun. He was a felon, so couldn't have weapons. Pretty simple overall. There was DNA stuff and fingerprints, etc, so obvious it was his.

Defendant was never in court...we got to ask defense attorney after and apparently he went on a joyride and got arrested while out on bail or whatever lol. He definitely wasn't a good guy.

Do you think the average juror walks around with a pocket Constitution or something? That's 90% of them.

That's why jurors are given specific instructions regarding every charge they are deciding.

Yeah Jury Duty is rather simple.
