Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

This morning this lady cut me off in the fast lane to go slower than traffic was going... When I got in the right lane to pass her, I gave the death stare only for her not to notice cause she was on her phone!!! Who does this still? My gears were literally grinded at this point too!

But it's friday, hope y'all have a great day!

Driving the interstate everyday for the past year has made me realize how dumb of a game some of these drivers play.

I'd be careful about doing stuff like that in general. You never know who that person could be, or their mental state at the time lol.

Yeah that is how this mother got killed last week. That is also how 3 weeks ago this older couple got a gun pointed at them.

What do we say to the God of reckless driving citations?

              Not today.

It was a middle aged lady with vegan stickers on her car... I was willing to take the risk. Don't be slow in a passing lane and force people to pass on the right

Selling something on Ebay. Someone made offer, I accepted, then they don't bother paying and now backed out of deal.

Why even bother trying to buy something if you have no intention of buying it. It wasn't an auction, it was a buy it now that they offered less than my asking price.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

OK so I'm at the U-Scan at Kroger, I scan a bottle receipt which requires the attendant to come over and key stuff in.

I look over at the attendant trying to make eye contact. The woman is in lala land. I wait a minute, she just stands there drifted away.

I try to move around to make myself noticed, just to catch her eye. Nothing.

Bold move: I actually walk over to her and say "ma'am". She still won't acknowledge me! I'm at the actual attendant computer 1 foot from this woman, after having verbally requested her AND my U-Scan was set to "attendant help requested".

She still won't even look at me! I see a grocery cart next to her and I think "OMG this isn't the attendant, no wonder she's ignoring me, she's probably just another shopper waiting for assistance!".

I panic and retreat to my U-Scan machine. Look around. No one. There's no one to make eye contact with and the only person I could try and boldly speak to was in another world and might not even work there

All I can do is stare at the original "out of this world" woman and hope she's the actual attendant and she'll snap out of her other worldly transcendence and catch my eye contact.

She finally snapped out of it and looked over, saw me, and keyed in whatever she needed to key in to make it work. Except it didn't work.

Three attempts of scanning codes and punching numbers later I finally was able to check out and run away

I think the above is actually a "Death of Customer Service" post, since I'm apparently keeping score on these things now.
