Fire ant/ant bites when mowing. Must have been a super ant that got me just above the ankle, whole muscle hurts when walking.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
People who are just content doing next to no work and seemingly can't function without having friends around.
I was actually told today I was working too hard and I should just stop doing stuff since I'm done in 30 minutes. Not by a manager, but other coworkers. They know im clearly making them look bad (not on purpose, I'm literally just doing my job), and seem to be mad that I'm showing them up.
Solution to their problem is to complain about it to their other coworker friends who are also just standing around watching me work, occasionally "volunteering" to help me so it looks to managers like they're the ones taking charge and telling me what to do.
Actual solution should've been to do their own job and stop acting so lazy and stupid.OSFM23 - Building Better Baseball - OSFM23

I got stung by a wasp on the ankle a couple of months ago and it felt like I had sprained my ankle for two days. Never gotten that from a sting before, so I don't know what it was but man was it uncomfortableComment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
And I can't say how this wouldn't be about me. I'm the only one on OS who has made a post about "fantasy" that wasn't talking about Madden in the past while, besides somebody mentioning in the OT thread about shedding a win by less than a point last week. If this isn't about me, then obviously I'm misreading this post.
If it is though, you may not care but I won't stop from "telling about it" just because you don't. I promise you that.Last edited by Blzer; 11-11-2019, 12:31 AM.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
If this is toward me, I just provided context to a situation in my post about a game situation. I don't intend on anyone to care, it was more about the football game than my team. When people post about theirs though, I'll care and listen. So to say "nobody" is obviously forgetting somebody.

^ Noted.
Even still, I did bring it up in conversation. I really hate these types of people as well. I don’t give a **** about your team, so don’t tell me what you want the QB of the team I actually support to do for you.#RespectTheCultureComment

“Hey man, what’s Rodgers going to do this week? He’s on my fantasy team and I need him play well!”

In those cases, I couldn't have cared less if it was he who made it in, Hunt, OBJ, Landry, Baker himself, whatever. The point of the post was about how good the Bills were on those two drives, or rather how poor the Browns were... including my #1 pick.
My team will win this week anyway, not that anybody cares.

EDIT: The thing that does grind my gears though is when people try and have their cake and eat it too, saying something like: "I hope the Browns lose as long as OBJ does good." When push comes to shove and I have to choose for myself, I always hope that my NFL [not fantasy] team wins no matter the cost, even if literal money being thrown into fantasy is on the line.
The best way to dodge this, which sometimes comes at a cost of my fantasy team, is that I simply never draft players on teams that I don't like. Simple as that. In case I happen to have a player on a team that might upset my real-life standings morals, I may even bench that player/defense, knowing that I don't want to even have a second's thought of a collision of conflict, because I wish ill upon that player's performance that day for the sake of the actual NFL team winning.Last edited by Blzer; 11-11-2019, 03:14 PM.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

It's why I quit fantasy football. I got so turned off by people asking me what their Broncos fantasy players for going to do that week (this was during the Manning years).
I honestly don't care when people talk about it here, I just skip the post.
It's when people come up to me in person because I have Broncos stuff on and ask me if they think they should start so and so this week.Last edited by kehlis; 11-11-2019, 03:42 PM.Comment
