Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I'll admit I once used my mother's handicap plate in HS when I was late to a track meet. It was on a college campus with 20 handicap spots, none of which were being used. That made me feel a little better about the decision, and when I came back to my car and the other 19 were still available, I felt even less bad.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

It is pretty funny huh?
There really were no other spots in the entire lot, that was the funny thing. It was the strangest thing, we had meets there every week, and this was the one time the lot was full in the 3 years I did indoor track.
I don't think I've done it since, other than maybe parking in a spot for 2 minutes, again on a college campus, while someone ran a book into the library.Comment

George's dad sentenced George to be his butler to pay for the car (referencing my earlier Seinfeld comment).Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
My only problem about handicap spots is that there are just too damn many of them. You to Target or Walmart and there are 20+ handicap spots and at most two or three are actually being used. I guess the government mandates that you need one for every X amount of customers or how big your store is, etc., but it's way overdone.
I don't know if you ever Watch Penn and Teller's Bull**** on HBO or Showtime, but they just did a show on this, which was pretty interesting. People can get handicap plates for some random handicaps. There were a bunch of other just outrageous disabilities, but it was pretty interesting none the less.Comment

A few things that "grind my gears"
People who have children who whine and cry because they can't go out anymore because of their children and complain about the price of a babysitter. One of my in-laws was in last week without their children and complained because I didn't want to take them out for a night of drinking because I was tired.
