When your car gets egged, the paint gets f****d up, I have people who witnessed it happen and saw who did it, but just because that person denied it, nothing is happening. Now we have to pay to get it painted again.

Lets see, you have damages and witnesses. I am not rendering legal advice here, but just common sense says you should sue the bastard who egged your car.

On a side note, if you have witnesses, the police should be charging that douche bag with vandalism.

Well, this is what happened:

Apparently they pulled up to my car and stopped. Keep in mind my neighbor was on her porch, my mom was downstairs in the living room with the door open, meaning she could see my car from the couch. There were 3 people in the car, and the one in the back rolled down the window and threw the eggs at my car. Apparently he was the only one that threw them. They darted off and my neighbor came over and told my mom everything. Once she told me what kind of car it was, I knew who was involved, so my mom called the one kid's mom and told her what happened. The two came back, apologized to her (I was in my room half asleep when this was going on), and tried to wash all of it off. Apparently, they told the one that threw the eggs they were going back, and he got out of the car at a stop sign and ran home. There's like 5-6 scratches on my car because the egg ate away at my paint, and there's a ton of it on the grill of my car.

Since the two came back, my mom didn't want to press charges on them, not to mention they didn't throw them. The one police officer said that the one that threw it could either be charged with Criminal Mischief or Disorderly Conduct and might have to go to a hearing. Apparently they called him into school today, he said that he only bought the eggs and didn't throw them, so he gets off completely unscathed unless my mom presses charges on all three.

It's up to my mom. It really doesn't have anything to do with me since everything is under her name. I just drive it.

Potential employers who always want EXPERIENCED people (not that these jobs pay that much, under $30K), not realizing that people have to start somewhere and want to knock you based on your lack of experience....... I mean, Mr. Employer, I know your old fatass had to start somewhere, too..........

Another thing that grinds my gears is when these employers CLAIM they will at least let you know if you didn't get the job. I am currently still waiting for a letter from an engineering firm (4 months) and a number of state agencies (1-2 months). Just not too professional IMO, but hey, I'll get the point one way or the other, right............

If anyone ever egged my car, and I had a witness, I wouldn't take the person to court. I would just find them and send them to the hospital.

Don't worry - I still haven't heard back from a place I gave an application to in May.

Luckily I got a different job instead of waiting for that.

LOL, I couldn't ethically charge that amount, at most I'd get like $200-250/hour.
