It really grinds my gears when a girl who you've been extremely close with for the past 2 years decides to completely screw you over and chooses to be friends with a freshman girl that she's known for 2 months over you. It also grinds my gears when she proceeds to tell you that everything you did for her meant nothing, and she trusts said freshman girl more than you.

So basically, I've learned that you really can't trust anybody, not even your supposed best friend.
I am guessing you are in high school still huh? Just ignore it. She isn't a true friend. Also, all girls are evil. She is a girl. Therefore, she is evil.

      What really grinsds my gears...

Bumper stickers with the message "My child is an honor student at ________"

I HATE THEM. I think they're the most pathetic, pretentious pieces of crap on the road. I really don't give a damn what grades your kids make in school. Honestly, it's just pathetic. What are you trying to prove by putting that on the back of your car? "Look at me, my kid isn't a total dumb ***. Maybe he won't turn out to be the same douchebag I became."

The funny thing is, it's really not that difficult to be an honor student in elementary/junior high.

Seriously, I even made straight A's in second grade.

          What does that tell you?

I got straight A's 'tll about 6th grade, then I realized getting A's is for losers and to get B's to look cool.

Okay I lied. I had a C or two in there.

I got straight A's and B's up until the Spring Semester of my Freshman Year in College. Boy did I screw that one up.

Luckily I am back on track with all A's and B's again this semester. It might be too late though. That kinda sucks.

I got basically all A's and B's in elementary/junior high.

Once I got to HS, I slacked off, had too much fun playing sports and hanging out with friends to be bothered by homework.

I got a bunch of C's,B's, A's in high school. College has been mostly C's, and a B.

This semester is all B's so far.

I have a ton of B's, some C's, and two F's(which I've replaced with two B's, but still doesn't change the transcript) so far in College. F's don't really help my cause.

                    Will have 3 B's and 2 A's this Semester.

You know really grinds my gears?

Old teachers. I've said it before(in this thread), and I'll say it again; retire already.

I failed a class because my History teacher was 100 years old and was essentially senile. Not only could I never understand what he was saying, but his class was just downright unfair.

Our grades came from three tests and a final. Those three tests each dealt with four to five different chapters per test. The test(s) were in the form of defining terms. These terms came from the chapters we were discussing in class.

We would come in on the day of the test, and he would hand us a paper with 10 terms listed. We would pick 7 and define them(Their importance, time period, who/what/where, etc..). We would not be given advanced knowledge of what the terms would be. So essentially we had to memorize every single term in every single chapter. Each chapter contained about 50 terms, and we had four to five chapters per test.

My highest grade on a test was a 30. Needless to say, if murder was legal, I know who I'd go after.

They even made me wear a helmet too because they thought my brain was so advanced they didnt want me to risk getting it injured. There was so many few of us that we got to ride on our own smaller bus too.

I have no problem with the bumper stickers. Parents are proud of their kids for getting good grades, and it's the school that hands out the stickers. It's not as if the parents are saying "Hey, guess what? I made a bumper sticker for my kid because he got good grades!" Your kid comes home with a bumper sticker for his academic achievements and you put it on your car. The other option is to say, "Big f'n deal, kid. All A's are easy to get in junior high. Come back to me when you've done something of importance, you little b*stard."
