People who say baseball is boring and too slow. It isn't boring you just have the attention span and patience of a 2 year old.

These people usually don't fully know/understand the rules and don't perceive the little battles/adjustments/mind games that are constantly taking place.

If somebody said they just never found the sport interesting, or it never appealed to them I wouldn't mind. But everyone whines about how slow it is.

I have a friend who can't stand hockey because it's "too fast and hectic".

To me it's exciting, to him it causes anxiety.

I'm like that with a lot of sports. I will play pretty much anything and have a good time. basketball, football, volleyball, baseball, tennis, kickball, soccer, etc, I will play them all. However ask me to watch anything besides football or basketball? No thanks.

And about the baseball argument above, who cares if somebody says they think baseball is boring to watch or think it's too slow to keep them entertained. That is they're opinion(and mine as well), and everybody is entitled to one. Not everybody enjoys the same things, especially not when it comes to sports, tv, music, or any other form of entertainment.

Everyone says the same thing about hockey. That is mainly because they don't understand it. It does get tiresome trying to explain to my friends why I like hockey. They just don't get it.

We care because it's human nature for us to get others interested in the things we ourselves are passionate about.

I played baseball for 10 years and although they were pretty enjoyable, the game is boring (to me). I can go to the stadium and watch the game, but can't watch it on television. I think a lot of my impatience comes from how long some pitchers take after each pitch and the length of time spent warming up after each half inning. I do like to watch hockey although I've never played officially played it.
