Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Here's one for my fellow bandies.
People who can't stay in step.
People who don't cover down.
People who can't guide right.
Bad horn angles.
When you get eaten up by a flag.
When the drill puts the color guard too close to the trombones.
When you have to go 2 to 5 for 30 yards.
When it's always blistering hot during band camp.
When the director tells the trombones to stop overblowing.
When the music only gives you whole and half notes to play. BORING!
Colleges that stand and play; who have little to no drill. (I'm looking at you, Standing Mizzou.)
Bad fight songs.
When the football team is playing outside of its ability and it causes the band to play the fight song hundreds of times. (91 point games suck!)Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Stupid fees.
Wells Fargo sold me on having 2 checking accounts, so I did just that.
Anyway, I really only use, the other is there and I transfer money to it for convenience items; however, starting next month they will charge $7 a month if you don't meet requirements.
I just closed the account.
In short, you offered me free checking a few months ago, and, now, its not free anymore.
-----------------------------------------
Along those same lines, I opened up a way to save savings account, which removes a dollar every time there is a transaction on my card.
This account is supposed to have a higher amount of interest. Well, once I transferred it to the proper checking account, I've had tons of money going in, and a penny of interest. When the balance was much lower, I was getting 20-30 cents. -_-
Makes no damn sense to have one, when I can just transfer to a regular savings account.
In short, **** banks.Comment

My grandmother has so much canned vegetable soup, turnip greens, green beans, corn, etc.. pretty much anything that comes from her garden and she even makes her own home made jelly and cans that.... she has three closets full of stuff.Comment

People who can't keep their toes out of the street/parking lot/driveway - people in general who just can't seem to notice there is a tire attached to a 2500 lbs. vehicle coming towards their feet.

Damn bitches. I would feel better about the world if more of them were actually honest, but I'm not playing these stupid little games.

Any time you get a drink from a drive through and its 50% ice and 50% drink. I want it to be like 90% drink, 10% ice.Comment

I can't stand people who rehash sports games over and over. We lost a football game recently and all people talked about was "if this" and "if that".
We lost. Get over it. Let's enjoy the night of drinking and such.SOS Madden League (PS4) | League Archives

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I don't think there is such thing as free checking accounts anymore. Seems like every bank has some type of FEE for having one and a penalty for going under a certain amount in that account. Like the bank I have now, it is a $10 or $15 penalty for going under $100.Comment
