I have a student checking account with Wells Fargo, it's 100% FREE. At one point they even covered for me when I went over.

When the drive thru of the coffee shop is almost to the street but some idiot turns into there anyway. So they are halfway in the parking lot and halfway in the street blocking all the traffic. Held me up for 10 minutes this morning.

It really bothers me when people ask to use/borrow my stuff for some reason. Now, if someone throws it out there that they need one thing or another and I have it, I usually have no qualms with mentioning they can use it. But I HATE when people ask me for my shoes or clothing.

Local bank has a checking account called "REALLY free checking". Ugh, if banks weren't greedy pricks that emphasis wouldn't be necessary.

I have a student checking account, do its free.

We bank with Capital One. My wife and I have a joint checking (where our paychecks are deposited) and a separate checking that our allowance goes to. Well now they are going to start charging us $8/month for the regular checking accounts. Needless to say, we are closing our personal accounts. Whatever happened to free checking accounts?

I'm down to 2 checking accounts. Wells Fargo and Schwab. Only have the Schwab because it really is free and ATM fees are reimbursed.

Anyway, I'm fine, direct deposit takes care of it. However, you sold me a second free checking account, and I used it more out of convenience.

I have a checking account with our grocery store. It's free and you get points for every purchase in the store which you can use to buy free groceries with. Can't beat that!

My checking account with PNC bank is free except for the $10 annual annuity card fee since my bank card has a picture of PNC Park on it.
