Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I don't live in Michigan, never have. Yet I am still a die hard Wolverine fan. Only team I root for in College sports.
Albeit I do have family in Ann Arbor, and visit at least once a year.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I go by these rules (in order of support):
1. You root for any team of a school you attend/attended. This overrides all others unless you attended because of grad school, money problems, or you're a dullard.
2. You may root for any school your parents attend.
3. You may root for 1 major local school as long as it is not a major rival of where you attend.
4. You may root for any local non-1A football team or non-power conference team.
5. You may casually root for 1 major school that is subject to change at any time. But if you do this, you have to admit that you're on the bandwagon, and you must have a pretty good knowledge of the team. You cannot actually say you're a fan of said team.
You pretty much pick one of the first 3, then 4 and 5.President of the Devils Den

I've been a Bucs fan for 10 years. But only because they drafted Warrick Dunn. That's a rule for pro teams. They draft your favorite player, you're obligated to pick that team as your team. Even if they trade him.Twitter

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
You know what I can't stand? People saying something happened when it didn't.
"Jeff Fisher said on his show last week (sorry don't have link) that there were several venues where communications occassionally went out. He said that at one venue in particular, communications ALWAYS went out on 3rd down. He wouldn't name any names, but after some prodding by the interviewer, hinted that it's close to a city where they are hosting a World Series game."
So I go and listen to the show and it turns out this never actually occurred. Thinking there may have been a mistake regarding the air dates I went and listen to this week's show as well. Once again nothing from Fisher. Why do people have to lie about this stuff all the time?Comment

Or show up the door naked once. Kids will start screaming and run, and word will get around the neighborhood pretty fast. No one will show up at your house.
Then not only do you have to deal with kids showing up, you get all the candy.
However, you may get some weird glances from the neighbors until you move.Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment

Well even if for some reason things take a turn for the better (for you anyways)and they don't run away...there's likely to be some girl-like screams heard from your house.Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment

Kids who ring the doorbell more than the necessary amount of times...
Literally just happened. Some kid just rang the doorbell three times, and he clearly sees me walking to the door.Comment

I now have my music turned up to where I can't hear the doorbell, so it's worked out for the better.Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment
