Player specific fans, especially in the NBA.

See, I can't follow the NBA. The basketball is just ugly to me as a whole, so I cheer for players.

College basketball is a whole different story to me though.

My bad, I should've been more specific.

I don't necessarily hate them, but moreso their arguments when it comes to certain players. Like because(insert favorite NBA player)is your favorite, he can do no wrong in your eyes on the court.

        Example:

Lebron James Fan: Lebron is the best player EVER to play in the NBA.
Me: Meh, he's the best player in the NBA today but I wouldn't say he's the best player to ever play in the NBA.
Lebron James Fan: Dude, what are you talking about?? He is the best ever and he doesn't do anything wrong.

Ah yeah, that makes more sense.

I have a liberal amount of hate for Kobe (and he's the reason I dislike the Lakers.) but admit the dude is talented. I don't like people like that for any sport though, I guess it's just more noticeable for hoops.

Well, that's more about how the NBA packages and markets itself. NFL and other sports seem more team oriented, but that's been pretty obvious the past two days.

                Maybe true.

I'm looking at it not being directed at anyone in particular, but more looking for everyone else's attention and approval, which when you're married, you should be getting from your husband/wife and close friends, not everyone on your friends list.

I'm not married, but when I do go down that road, my Facebook will cease to exist. I'll only need one person to approve of and "like" me/"poke" lmao

I really, really, REALLY hope for your sake that you are the one poking her and not vice-versa.

Then again... Whatever floats your boat, buddy.

I don't have any problem with these type of fans as long as they openly admit that they are a player fan and not a fan of the team. However, these types of fans are mad annoying whenever you try to have a discussion.

Duck faces grind my gears. A lot. A LOT.

How my blu ray player can not function without the remote. There is literally no way to start the movie without it.

I hate VCRs, DVD Players, etc that function like this.
