You know that Introvert/Extrovert thread we have going on? Yeah seems like your workplace has a bunch of Extroverts that have to talk just for the sake of talking. Even when it's just pointless small talk, because heaven forbid if thee were a few moments of silence it would be awkward for them.

My work is split 50/50 sometimes I go into the breakroom and the "chatters" are in there, and they'll try to start up some kind of conversation with me. I'll play a long and get on with my lunch, but I never lead the conversation... sometimes there's the people that don't really talk and just sit quietly, or even read a book and I just go with the flow and be my quiet self.

But I agree with you sometimes you just aren't in the mood to talk and want to just sit quietly and enjoy your food without being bothered.

One or our friends asked us when we were having a kid. We let her know we had everything planned out and were just wanting to be more stable. She tried telling us we'd never be prepared. This is like the 3rd person who said it but all 3 of them had kids while in HS.

It gets annoying when people who didnt take our route try to tell us we'd never be prepared. Hope this clears it up?
I am not sure they were talking about being financially prepared. You can make $200,000 a year, but that doesn't prepare you for having to wake up every two hours and tend to another human life that can do nothing for itself. Certainly it will be easier when it's been planned out then for a 16 year old, but until you have done it once I don't think you can really be 100% prepared for the mental aspect of it.

We have roughly 275 cars on our lot and holding lot, all with gas, and dealer tags and insurance for any of them. People could just as easily do what I did and go buy what they want...
This is me every day at work. I almost always bring some leftovers that my wife has made and multiple people always want to see what i have to eat. "What do you have to eat today? You're so lucky?" It's so annoying. If you don't want to eat your frozen meals every day for lunch then take yourself home and cook something you lazy ***!

This is EVERY day. They come into my office and say oh it smells so good. What do you have for lunch today?

          Meanwhile I don't ask anyone that because I don't give a ****.

The fact that anyone listens to what Screamin' A Smith and Skip Bayless have to say. Those two are horrible. Especially Skip. He got exposed by Mark Cuban for not knowing his stuff and people still pay attention to him.

Jalen Rose calling him out was good also.

I thought the jokes were kinda funny myself.

I liked that picture I posted in the weather thread.

I don't really care about that, it's his initials so it's not like it's irrelevant.

I know about the whole his Nickname at Oklahoma was All Day, but that angle rarely gets talked about anymore from the National Sports crews. So they just call him AP. Or as Rich Eisen calls him Adrian Peee-tuuuhson.

That AP is supposed to be referred to as AD.

                                And the EA servers.
