Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

At my old job, I was good friends with one of the admins. She brought lunch to work one day, and on the tupperware was clearly her name.

She told me that when she went to get it, the tupperware was gone. So she went around and saw someone eating from it. She confronted the person saying that it had her name on it, and the person still said that it was her lunch.

WTF? Some people I just will never understand.

I would go with the laxatives route. Don't make a scene right now, so the culprit won't commit the crime again. Just make a nice lunch tonight, fill it with laxatives, and then bring it in tomorrow.

Then when you see someone missing from their desk because of numerous bathroom runs you'll know who it is.

And then they die from dehydration and you put your two-weeks notice in and move across country. At least that's how it would play out for me

The feeling of emptiness when you fly through a series and catch up to everyone else. How do you wait for new episodes??? HOW!?

I enjoy the wait between episodes. Gives me something to look forward to, and if it's a drama it builds anticipation. A show isn't meant to be watched in one shot. Loses it's desired effect when you do that. And it lets me digest what I just watched rather than just jump to the next one, creating a blur. Shows where I caught up in marathon fashion are way more "blurry" when I reflect back on them.

Depends on the show really. There were weeks on LOST where pretty much nothing happened and watching it as it aired was horrible.

That killed me on Breaking Bad. I watched all the seasons last summer and then started watching when it came back in July and oh my God! Going from watching 3 a day to getting one a week was hard.

You're a better man than me because I would probably be on the news for staging a floor-wide lock-in until the culprit stepped forward.

Yeah I was pretty furious. There has been an uprise in theft lately at work (Stuff disappearing from peoples desks etc..) all coinciding with a certain group that was hired outside the company to do some things.. Coincidence maybe I guess....

Reminds of the Guinness Black Lager commercial where the chick is just wailing away in the background. That "singer" seems to be in tons of commercials too and just howls like a banshee in every one.

The current Budweiser Clydesdales commercial and the STUPID song in it. Hell, any commercial with animals or talking babies.

                        Enough already.

I.E. those eTrade commercials. Not funny anymore and haven't been for a long time.

This is bad news for me. FS usually has the same commercials across all their regions, I think. Looks like I'll suffer through this Pitbull crap too.

Or the Subway commercials where the adults have small child voices.
