Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
People calling my cell phone at 8:30 at night to ask me ridiculous survey questions about Supreme Court rulings and judge voting. Lady had me on the phone for 15 freaking minutes. I said "no opinion" for pretty much every question she asked me. Not to mention how fast they talk and you can't even understand what they are saying. I finally had to cut her off and tell her to stop this crap. Calling me from Idaho. No matter how much you tell them you have to get off the phone they don't stop. I finally said "too bad I have to get off this phone."
I should have pulled a Jerry Seinfeld on her.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
When your in line for admission tickets (I took the family to the Zoo yesterday) and there is a sign that says:
$31.95 gets you access to ALL ACTIVITIES --> (Shows lists of all the activities included in the price)
Then the dumb lady in front of me, while taking 10 minutes to look at the ticket prices, asks the cashier
"So does this $31.95 price include all the activities on this list?"
Really? Really now? People can be so stupid.Comment

People with entitlement issues, and I ain't talking about people on government assistance. I was at Staples on Sunday, and this guy apparently bought his laptop there 4 years ago, and he's screaming at some poor guy that he deserves a new laptop cause the one he bought is crap after four years, he then continues on about how its a horrible business practice to sell things that are bad after just four years. Then pulls the classic line "I'M NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN, STAPLES JUST LOST A GOOD CUSTOMER, I SPEND XXXX AMOUNT OF DOLLARS HERE."
First, no one cares how much you spend here, you're a drop in the bucket at any nationwide chain. Second, why do people feel the need to yell at retail employees(the regular folk) as though they can do anything. Third, if you wouldn't accept your child acting this way in public, why the **** do you think you can?
Fourth, you get what you pay for, and how you take care of it, I've seen the way people treat laptops, people are quite simply ridiculous.Support Local Sports

Sent from my mobile device."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace
