And you live in Florida??? Everyone I know when I lived in Mississipppi mowed their lawn at like 7 and 8 because of the heat and/or work. Still enough sunlight to get it in. After 9, I can't understand though as it's usually fairly dark... unless you have a small yard and good lighting.

      Yep..
Depending on weather and when I have the free time is when I mow.
I never get miffed when I'm trying to sleep during the day since I work at night when people are hammering away at home improvements or mowing their lawn.

          Micromanagement.

Payroll usually takes 5-6 hours to get completely done. Our CEO decides she wants to review, and we are now going on two days.

I'm not cutting my grass during the hottest part of the day. Its either being cut early morning or late, late evening 7:30-8:00 is a good time to start once time shifts. We also head headlights on the mower so I've been cutting grass as it turns dark before.. Headlights?

Especially at the part of the year where its in the 90s at 8pm. ****ing humidity.

Thankfully my lawns aren't huge, so I can do both in 30 minutes.

I get where you're coming from though, especially in Arizona you don't want to mow in the middle of the day.

I do dislike when people around us do their lawns at 6 or 7am on a weekend though. It doesn't happen often, but I'm like "wait until 8am". Not like I sleep in super late.

I wouldn't really mow the lawn at 10pm though, too dark lol. My front yard takes like 5 mins though, so I can do that whenever. The back yard isn't seen by people, so we can do that at our leisure. The front has to be done regularly so the HOA doesn't yell at us.

Never had the problem of early morning mowing usually in the south. Grass is usually fairly wet with dew so just makes a mess; even then, I was up early. Probably don't have as much of that problem in the southwest with the drier air.

Our riding lawnmower also has headlights, but they hardly do anything compared to car headlights. Just easier to have some sunlight to do it, unless you are just wrapping up.

So you hate half of OS ? I remember my 1st day on OS some poster snapped on another poster for saying he was getting old and he was only 17 or 18. But anyway that poster ripped into him real good as though the kid slept with his wife or something.

I thought oh my, OS is serious business. Don't know if the guy was having a bad day or what, but that was my 1st impression of OS, that thread and that conversation.

Now far as why I hate people mowing their lawn at 9pm, where I live, everybody's yard is 1 acre or more big, on average 4 acres big, with a lot of people yard 20 acres big. So it isn't like in 30 minutes they would be done. Hell on my riding mower it takes 2 1/2 hours to mow my yard. So if you start mowing, you won't be done until midnight.
