One newer pet peeve of mine is going to the gym with somebody. Unless they are 100% committed to fitness I find them more trouble then they are worth. Being slow, cancelling workouts, clowning around, not giving 100%. Its just ugh sometimes. I just had a friend cut cardio time because he was bored and dint bring headphones for music. Why arent you prepared dammit!?

Which is ironic since I was that guy not too long ago.
The last sentence means a lot and while the following doesn't grind my gears too much, it may grind others':

Realizing your group of friends no longer fit your new lifestyle.

I'm not talking about taking up drugs as a regular habit and wondering why your friends won't chill with you. But like king's example of being dedicated to his own personal health and fitness and not having a friend just as dedicated.

That was replace with the gangnam style dance and the harlem shake dance, which the harlem shake dance is another example of a dance that is over 3 years old but suburban kids start doing it and people think it is new.

Miley does it, mainstream news pick it up and everybody assume it is something new, when it is really something old.

Twerking has been around for longer than ten years. Much much longer.

It's just mainstream now. But it won't go away. You'll just stop hearing about it so damn much.

I don't know what it is but it bugs me when there is so much stuff on there.
My wife does that it shows like Duck Dynasty, Honey Boo Boo, What Not to Wear, etc. If there's more than 2 or 3 on there I just delete them without asking. She's never missed the ones that I have deleted so it has worked out so far.

There was one show on TLC (can't remember the name now) that she used to set. She would set it to tape new & repeats. It would tape like 14 episodes a day!

TLC have weird shows on it. I came across Extreme Cougar Wives on it at 2am. Apparently this is the beginning of their second season.

I have to share my DVR too with other people, and I hate when they just leave recordings of shows on the DVR forever and never delete it. Shows from MONTHS ago are still there, they don't watch those episodes again, but will get mad if you ever delete those things from the DVR.

Best solution to it....(assuming you're able to), say there's a problem with the DVR and you have to return it(which allows you to either get a new box with 0 recordings on it,or just delete all the recordings on your current DVR without having to exchange it) lol.

My new gear grinder of the moment. When a person flood your inbox asking the same damn question. If I said no the first time, you copying and pasting the same paragraph and sending it to me in 10 new messages not going to make me change my mind.

My dad is the worst for keeping old stuff. I was over at their house last weekend and he still has the Prince William/Kate Middleton Royal Wedding on there!

After having a nice meal out at a cool restaurant and it takes the server 30 minutes to come pick up the check.

Man I got tired of waiting last Friday.

He brought me another drink and I said, "Thanks a lot.. that's all we're going to need tonight."

Then he came by again and I said, "No thanks. We're done".

Came back a third time and I finally got to the point and said, "We just need the check".

Waited again and finished my margarita and everyone at our table just got up and went to the door.

He was a great waiter throughout, we were just late for plans at another place and couldn't keep waiting on the guy. He even left me a bean dip for free because he misheard me when I said cheese dip.

There is a pizza place I used to go to in Akron. They had pretty good pizza and it was one of the first sit down pizza restaurants I had been to in ages, but the service sucked balls. It wasn't big or anything, but it seemed like they only ever had 1 or 2 people working and when it got busy, you could wait forever before you saw your server again. I always had to physically go find my server to get the check because they were back in the kitchen helping with orders or something. Guess it's how they made money, hire tiny staffs.

That story grind my gears. 16 years old, get a $125,000 car, crashes it 18 days later. Well I should say big SUV. No 16 yr old should be given something that big to drive as their 1st car. Hell you have some people in their 30s who can't drive a SUV that big good, so to expect a new 16 yr old driver to handle something that big is mind blowing.
