Stupid/unamazing stuff going viral. If you have seen the most amazing volleyball kick play in history that is featured on Yahoo right now then you know what I'm talking about.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

Oh God, I'd never sit in the end zone at a football game. I did once for an Army/Memphis game as my whole family went and they were cheap. I was a kid so I didn't notice all that much, but inside the 20's at the least, prefer inside the 35's if I can. The only events I've gone to where farther back/higher was better is race tracks. And that even failed at Darlington because I was at the start/finish line. My concern is usually with how the rows are designed. Too many places I've been to the seats aren't staggered well so you can't see home plate in particular if someone is in front of you. Nationals Park was nice in that wasn't really an issue. Usually a big problem at Progressive.

This infuriates me to no end. Can't believe I haven't expressed this earlier.

When you're watching an Internet video be it Youtube, or another site. And the actual speaking audio is really low, whether they have a quiet voice or poor mic quality and you then need to turn your volume up just to hear what they are saying. Then it cuts to a reaaallly loud outro that almost blows your ears off.

Or maybe there's no outro and you switch to another video not realizing you turned your volume up to listen to the poor quality audio and your ears get blown off by a super loud intro in another video.

Some tv channels used to be like this (I don't think it happens as often now though). You'd be watching the show at a volume level of 20, but then the commercial comes on and you have to go down to a level of 10 because the commercial is so loud.

          That would really annoy me.

There was a law passed that stopped this. Went into full effect in December of last year.

Yeah, I remember reading online that the commercial wasn't louder than the loudest part of the show, but that means it could have been as loud as the explosion or something super loud.

Glad they finally fixed that. I'd be watching tv late at night and almost wake people up lol

Yes it still happens for me on local broadcasts that cut to national commercials.

It's terrible during Pirates games still.

At least Pirates games are no longer terrible. I'd call that a win for you!

Loudmouth people with no filter on the things they say.

Its lunch at work and this girl is talking about how there's **** on the wall in the bathroom. Then she follows that up with "I don't understand why people don't like hearing these things when they're eating. Its not like I'm talking about maggots."

                      Seriously, wtf?

I don't have that issue. I was fine while hearing that. I just think it's a little ****ed up and ignorant when there's a room full of people eating.

People are just too sensitive. This inspired my maggot pizza post too haha. Should she have been swearing? Maybe not because that is pushing it in front of kids, but I mean, kids eat worms, dirt, and god knows what else, so if they can handle that, we can handle hearing gross stuff while eating. Unless you have a really poor gag reflex and you get disturbed easily, then you might have a problem.

It's not about that. I can listen to and see just about anything while eating, but there is a time and a place for everything. It is commonplace not to talk about **** while people are eating.
