It grinds my gears when I go to the gym and a guy is wearing a shirt where both of his nipples are exposed.SOS Madden League (PS4) | League Archives

However, when you're in a new place - and lets face it, it's always a new place! - you will likely have no idea what exit you're taking, so it's almost always I find myself in the wrong lane for a moment and have to switch over.
Maybe that means I don't know how to use them. Hmmm.
Sent from my mobile device."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

I hate those gym elitists who look down at everyone who isn't in 100% perfect shape. I'm sorry I don't workout 5 hours a day 7 days a week, I'm just trying to lose a little weight.1905 1921 1922 1933 1954 2010 2012

Because she places the burden of sexuality completely on females and really under sells men as anything but cavemen. The fact that she submerges any sexual thought and essentially censors and bans it isn't healthy and creates a stigma that is hard to shake as a developing adult. Not to mention the fact she directly correlates appearance/sexuality as a means to judge intelligence and worth.
I think she's completely off base and perpetrates the exact wrong things to be telling any young person, female or otherwise.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I read that a totally different way than you. I read it as she wants her boys to value women for who they are personally, not by just their beauty. What I think she was getting at, is that she wants her boys to appreciate a woman's value more than their looks. In my opinion, society has made women out to be sex symbols and many men see them as that alone.
Not to mention this ball of non-sense:Did you know that once a male sees you in a state of undress, he can’t quickly un-see it? You don’t want our boys to only think of you in this sexual way, do you?
I understand she had good intentions and like every parent wants to protect their children, but by focusing on just one side of the equation seems irresponsible to me and furthers that objectification of females that is such a trademark in our society and culture.
