Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

This morning at a 3 way stop T intersection. I'm making the right, person 1 coming at me making the left, and person 2 making the left onto the top of the T that were almost through as we pull up.

Person 2 goes through, so it's me making a right and person 1 coming towards me. No signal, I assume going straight giving me the okay to turn right. Nope. They turn in my face.

At the next light, I pull up behind them. Car full of children. Made me sick. So you're putting your young children's life at risk because you're too lazy/dumb to flick the signal level literally right next to your hand. Why? WHYYYY??? If you wanna be an idiot, go ahead, I'm used to dodging them at every turn. But for the sake of your kids, come on!

It's a matter of: If they can get away with it once and no one speaks up, they will keep doing it until they run into an Authority figure that tells them it's not Okay. Then they turn apologetic, or play dumb and go "I didn't know any better."

If anyone has ever spent any significant time working in Retail, or Providing Service towards others let's say in a Restaurant you will understand. You see the worst in people especially during an Economic downswing like we currently are in. Where they will go through every bag of tricks in the book to save a couple of dollars here or there.

You're also right about the turn signal. It doesn't matter though because you had the right of way.

I have one of those 3 way stops about 2 miles from home, it's annoying because it's blind on both sides coming from the direction that can turn left or right. It's wooded and there are hills on the left & right and you can't see if other people are approaching until you're about 20 feet from the sign. Totally robs you of your ability to time your slow down so you don't stop at the exact time as the other drivers, when all hell can break loose because nobody seems to understand who has the right to go first.

People in college using an app called Tinder. For anyone who is unfamiliar with it, you take photos of your self and people who live near you can see them. If they think you are attractive, they swipe right, if they think you are unattractive they swipe left. If you both swipe right then you can start messaging each other and talking. My problem is why do you waste your time on this in college? You are sitting in your bedroom texting people hoping they swipe. Get out of your room and interact with people! Even worse is when seniors use it to get with younger girls.

A good friend of mine is in the same grade as me (we are both going to be sophomores) and she used this app and is now dating a graduated senior. People may not agree but I think it's pathetic that you needed an app to get a person in college. It's especially pathetic for the senior

I don't see the problem with it.

It's just a quicker version of online dating.I messed around with it in Great Lakes, you just have to watch out for catfishing and sketchy business.

Apps......online dating....same crap, just a different way of doing it. Never was my style, I rather go out and meet people in person. But hey, it is the norm now in main stream society. I learned to accept it and don't knock people for doing it.

People are just recycling and renaming the same ideas. They went from ads in the newspaper, to online websites to apps. Shouldn't let it bother you, there are enough women to go around.

I went shopping in a store today and literally less than a minute after I went to an aisle, an employee out of nowhere quickly came right up to me and started asking if I needed any help. I just said no because I know exactly what I'm getting(and I even told them that the item I'm getting is literally like 10 feet away from where I was going) and then that person was just like "ok then....", and then decides to just stand there and stare at me until I left the aisle.....(this store doesn't have employees working on commission either)

I was actually considering getting something else too, but I didn't have enough time to look at it because that employee was getting annoying just standing there so I just wanted to leave that aisle as soon as possible.

Really don't know what their deal was. Not like I came in wearing a backpack, shopping with a group, or reaching into my pocket while looking around at items or anything like that. Just simply wanted to walk into the store, get what I was going to buy and then leave. Couldn't even do that without being bothered by an employee.

Feeling the strategy game bug, so I reached for my physical copy of Medieval II. I want to play again(with the Stainless Steel mod), but the damn thing has Securom DRM on/in it. Even after the game is uninstalled, it sits on your system...
