I am sorry but when you have cars behind you and are going below the speed limit for no reason other than you want to, you are being rude and extremely inconsiderate to everyone behind you. When the speed limit says 55, that is the speed that I actually have the right to go as prescribed by the law. So by going slower you are infringing on my rights and you could easily pull over and let cars that want to go faster go by you.

I agree 100% with this and pretty much everyone else pet peeve in this thread. Well, except for the guy who drives below the speed limit in normal conditions.

When the speed limit says 55, that is the speed that I actually have the right to go as prescribed by the law. So by going slower you are infringing on my rights and you could easily pull over and let cars that want to go faster go by you.

That 55 is the maximum speed limit.

There is no law saying I have to go that speed to make anybody else happy if I don't feel safe going that speed. I "want" to go a slower speed because it's safer and more comfortable for me to do so not because I want other drivers mad at me.

But the reality is I don't care if they're mad or if you feel I "infringe" on your "rights" to go the MAXIMUM speed limit. As long as I'm driving in the legal range of speed in a given zone...that's what I'm going to continue to do.

And no...I'm not going to pull over everytime somebody who want's to go faster than me rides my bumper. That'd be creating extra safety issues for me trying to pull in and out of traffic that doesn't as a whole use their turn signals or follow the posted speed limit.

You may not like it...but I have the same "rights" to that road that you do.

Disagree. Just because someone isn't driving how you want them to doesn't make them rude and inconsiderate. All I have to say is too bad, because people are going to drive how they want whether you like it or not. No one is "infringing on your rights" because they have every right to be on the road as much as you.

Actually if you are driving below the speed limit and thus causing traffic to backup behind your vehicle, you can be ticketed for interfering with the flow of traffic. I would also say if there are clear weather conditions and you don't feel safe driving the speed limit then perhaps you shouldn't be driving at all.

You can be ticketed for a lot of things, driving 5 mph under the speed limit is the least of my worries. I've gone the speed limit many times and had people on my ***, is that interfering with traffic?

Not when going the maximum allowable speed in most circumstances, but the laws are written to give the cops broad discretion.

Oh, it certainly has. I only went on again when I got this new computer because the webcam isn't tedious since it's attached to the computer. And while there are some nice girls there who will talk to you, the others just skip without giving you a chance. I understand skipping the nasty stuff, but unless they are lesbian I'm not quite sure what else it is they are looking for on there where they will skip you outright.
