I used to be a walmart cartpusher, it was the worst job i've ever had. As said, people just leave their carts wherever they damn well please, and don't blame the cart pushers for carts being all over the place. We would work our asses off and there would still be a ton of carts all over the place because we were almost always undermanned, sometimes with only one person covering an entire lot by ourselves. I though it would be an easy job too, I was way wrong.
You know what really grinds my gears?

Re: What is your biggest pet peeve?
Well working at Walmart, don't matter what department you worked in, you were under manned, it is the Walmart way. I worked in Electronics......a department that should have 12 people working full time, only had 3 or 4 people in it.
So therefore we had get the tv's ourselves, carry the tv's and tv stands to people cars ourselves.
And I remember one time I had cover for the cart pusher for him to go on lunch. I was like where is the other guy ? He was like he is off today, I was like WTF ?
And on top of that, the cart pushing machine was BROKEN, OMG. Longest hour of my life ever. Because once I got all the carts gather and stocked for the grocery side, then the general merchandise side would be empty, then when I got that one full, the grocery side would be empty again.
I was like FML. It is a never ending process collecting carts at a Walmart super center.Comment

Re: What is your biggest pet peeve?
Oh I use to hate CSM's.......They use to walk around like they were salaried managers when in reality they weren't and only made 40 cents more an hour then sales associates.
I hated them even more when I needed a price override in Electronics and they would take all damn day to come back there......
Oh I am so glad I don't work there anymore. I worked in a variety of stores growing up but that had to be the worse retail store ever to work for.Comment

Re: What is your biggest pet peeve?
Well I advise you to stay away from 24 hour Walmart super centers. They have carts EVERYWHERE in the parking lot. People are just lazy. How hard is it to walk your cart to the nearest collection bin ?
Another thing about Walmart carts are that they are very LIGHT, so the slightest wind blowing will send one of their carts rocketing into a parked car. I remember last year around this time, it was very windy on Black Friday but yet no snow on the ground and it had to have been at least 30 cars get hit by Walmart shopping carts being blown around.
That store manager damn near got fired over that. But I heard the cart pushers did get fired over that though for not collecting carts in a timely matter. Which I think is total BS.
The parking lot of a 24 hour Super Walmart is HUGE. And most Walmarts only have 2 cart pushers. No way in the world can you gather all those carts in less than 3 hours. When you think of all the damn walking you got to do, wait for cars to get out of your way and crap.Comment

Re: What is your biggest pet peeve?
Oh trust me, you are better off at JcPenny, hell you even making more money at JcPenny then you would have at Walmart.
Far as pay goes, it is in this order for retail stores:
Carson Pierre Scott
Macy's
JC Penny
Best Buy
Target
Sears
Sam's Club
Walmart
Kmart
Toys R Us

Re: What is your biggest pet peeve?
I hate when people always compare a player to the best there ever was and uses that to degrade the lesser player. For example I was telling a buddy of mine about that insane game Blake Griffin had against the Knicks the other day:
Me: man did you see what Blake did against the Knicks?! Some of those dunks were insane! He has to potential to be HOF'er if he continues to improve and doesn't get hurt.
Him: (laughs) yeah when he does it every night like Kobe then we'll talk.
Me: you are compairing a veteran star vs a rookie though. Kobe didn't **** as a rookie.
Him: Yeah but Jordan was awesome as a rookie. One good game and people starting saying Griffin is going to be the best of all time.
Me: I never said he was going to be the best of all time. I just said he has a nasty game and has the potential to be great.
Him: yeah well Kobe brings it everynight.
Me: nevermind *changes subject*Comment

Re: What is your biggest pet peeve?
LOL......yeah I hate that too. Even though Blake isn't a rookie, this is his second season. The potential is there that is for sure. Usually take a player 3 years in the NBA before they get off though.
Rose is starting to get off now
Durant is starting to get off now
Dwight Howard is starting to get off now
Lopez is starting to get off now
So as long as he stays healthy, the sky is the limit.Comment

Re: What is your biggest pet peeve?
Yeah, and at my local Market District Giant Eagle they can't even use the excuse that it's to cold or it raining because it has an undergound parking garage beneath the store. The laziness of some people bugs me too. People who cross in the middle of a busy street 10-20 yards from the crosswalk. People who get on a bus only to get off at the very next stop 200 yards down the road.Ohio State - Reds - Bengals - Blackhawks - BullsComment

That sounds like me trying to troll one of my friends who knows more about basketball than i do. Like he'll say something, say about Rajon Rondo getting a lot of assists and i'll just say something along the lines of "Kobe would've had more". Good times.-Ohio State-
