Never understood this. Yeah, you can go as long as there's not a "no turn on red" sign, but you don't have the right of way. I've seen people blow the horn at someone who HAD THE GREEN LIGHT because he/she didn't let the person who had the red light cut in front of them. Really?

Ever find it funny that some otherwise reasonablly intelligent, well-adjusted people become absolute basket cases on the road? Has driving really become that stressful?

Turning into the proper lane, or lack of. Put an intelligent person behind the wheel and they turn into a ****ing moron.

I'm turning right onto a multi-lane street, an on-coming car is turning left onto the same street....and of course that douchebag turns into MY lane forcing me to avoid the collision.

People make it more stressful than it really is, especially on the interstate.

This is why I typically avoid making right hand turns on a red light if there are left-turners coming across. It is rare that I see anybody keeping in their lane when making turns - they'll always go to outside lane. Actually, I guess it is worse for left-turns than right-turns.

Pretty sure I'm on record in this thread with this one too. Always err on the side of caution when dealing with other drivers. Because they're apt to do something really, really, mind-numbingly stupid.

The worst is when it's a busy street and you're trying to make an unprotected left. Waiting for the perfect opportunity, you see the person with their right blinker on, you think, should I?? Then sigh as they fly into the left lane and pat yourself on the back for saving your vehicle's entire passenger side.

Just so you know in many states that douchebag is allowed to turn into any lane he wants if he's making a left turn, he doesn't have to turn into the very left lane.

When making a right turn, you DO have to turn into the right lane.

If the person making the left turn has already started the turn, the person making the right turn needs to yield. The person making the left has right of way.

Obviously avoiding a collision is paramount but if the person making the left is so far into the turn that it's impossible for them to get to the far left, it's the responsibility of the person making the right turn to yield.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

The vehicle making the left should be yielding to any on-coming traffic, not the other way around, regardless if turning into the wide lane is legal. This *should* be common sense.

I'd be interested to see the specific drivers training that states otherwise.

I was always taught if you are turning right on red you yield to everyone. The person turning left should have the right of way.

Yeah....and I don't trust other drivers to be able to handle one turning into one lane and the other going into the other nicely. You don't know how many times either one will go to the other lane and cause an accident.

When I lose in a video game or anything for that matter and everyone is like, "omg he just lost. i cant believe it."

Which in turn gets me pissed, because I already know I lost. Then everybody thinks I'm pissed because I lost, however in actuality I'm pissed because everyone thinks it's a big deal that I lost. Just let it be.

Ah i see. Apparently I can't read. Then yeah the car turning left should yield to the car turning right. Since the one turning left doesn't have an arrow.
