Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
what's worse is it is getting difficult to find "normal" ball caps anymore. Every store is full to the brim with the douchey flat bill crap with the terrible graphics and they have maybe one or two normal hats. They better start bringing back normal hats before I go bald!Chicago Bears
Oregon State Beavers
Portland Trail Blazers
San Francisco Giants
Chicago Blackhawks
MLS: Portland Timbers
EPL: Liverpool FCComment

I hear you. A hat isn't a fashion statement for me. I usually wear one when my hair is a mess and I have to run out somewhere.
Some people can pull off the flat brim. Most others can't. It looks really stupid on most people. You're trying too hard.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

I swear that there is a secret portal inside dryers that only accepts socks. It makes absolutely no sense for every sock I own to go into to the dryer only for me to end up with at least 1/4 of them missing by the time I take them out.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I'm starting to seriously think about RDM's suggestion above. But I wear dress socks to work, and normally when you get a 3-pack of one color, they have slightly different designs. That right there grinds my gears about socks too.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I'd rather see a flat billed, clean hat with a sticker than some ratty old camo hat that's black from years of sweat and its bill is broken to look like the roof of a house. Either way I'm thankful I don't have to wear hats.
Back to the music thing. I may not have listened to every genre in the world, but I don't think I've come across one where I can't find something I don't like. From bluegrass to turntablism, if its good music that's all that matters to me. Sure, I may not have knowledge like an encyclopedia on some areas, but I feel like I can back up myself when I make the claim I like all kinds of music. I like how people say that then immediately follow it up with a qualifying statement.Last edited by Fresh Tendrils; 08-30-2012, 11:13 AM.

I don't have to wear hats, I just choose to. I have a head full of hair, but I almost always have a hat on. It took me forever to get my favorite hat (purple LA hat) to fit right, because the way they make most hats now. The only hat I wear flat bill is my ZERO hat and its usually on the days where I feel like rocking it backwards. I really don't have a problem with how people wear their hats. It's their money, their style, etc. I do get tired of seeing 15 Chicago Bulls snapbacks each day. They are ridiculous with them in Birmingham and hardly anyone is even a ****ing bulls fan

I never see it on Facebook, but girls always posted them on MySpace. I actually got a date with one, once. She went to a different high school and I didn't even know who she was, until then...people posted a bunch of random crap on MySpace.. I have a cousin who drives me crazy with his "truth is" and " date or pass" ****.. also tired of seeing him upload the same ****ing close up shot in his YOLO shirt, so ******* chicks will tell him he has nice eyes. If you can't tell... it really gets on my nervesWhile I'm on this rant, I'm tired of single moms posting trying to get someone to praise them for taking care of their kid. Bitch, you got pregnant in high school.. that's your fault and your responsibility to take care of that child... if raising a healthy, loving child isn't enough of an award, then you are **** out of luck..

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Blame MTV and their teen mom tv shows. Now everybody wants their 5 minutes of fame for doing something they suppose to do anyway.
I'm starting to see dads do this too. I have a friend that does this every other day. Always talking about he did this for his son, he did that for his son, I'm the best dad in the world.
Some times I just want to say you want a trophy for taking care of your child ? Something you suppose to do anyway ?Comment
