Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
LOL, I needed CR2016 and CR2032, midway through picking out what to order I decided to just order the CR2016 since that's the only remote I used (batteries are for remotes to a viper alarm that I only use for remote start and door locks on a classic car). So, I ended up having my tabs confused and just one click ordered the wrong size, but I didn't realize until they got here. No big deal, I do have a backup remote that takes them, and it was like $4 for 10 of them and they are good until 2022. So I go to order the CR2016 and searching amazon I went too quick and assumed that among the pages of 2016 they were all 2016, but nope, one of them was 2032 and of course that's what I ordered. My own ******* fault, but no big deal, cost me $2 to ship them back to amazon ($2.25 since I just used stamps).
Now I've definitely ordered the right ones, only took me three tries.Comment

I did damn near the same thing with an audio cable. Needed one with female ends, ordered one with male ends. No big deal I figure, I'll just get another, they're cheap enough.
Ordered the same ****ing cable all over again. A real work of genius.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

People who don't signal when they're about to turn.
People who wait at a red light waiting for the light to turn green in order to make a right turn when no no turn on red signs are posted anywhere.
People who turn on their turn signal 2 seconds before they turn.
I've experienced all of these on my way to work this morning.
These are the same people who only think of themselves. The reason we have turn signals is so other drivers know our intentions.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers

Had to chase down a 16 year old today. Man I"m getting old. D-1 athlete to a fat bum. It gives me motivation to get back into shape, that's for sure.

I would get into some trouble. It's on a unclassified military computer, but they monitor web-use rigorously. About a year ago I got a warning for using a "proxy-avoidance" but I have no clue what I did. I'm surprised OS was left unblocked for as long as it was, as they've blocked most other sites.Ohio State - Reds - Bengals - Blackhawks - BullsComment

The Subway cashier who doesn't want to hand me my change and instead lay it on the counter for me to stand there and scrape it off of.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I've never really been around public transportation, except for a few occasions. I've rode in a Taxi once, but I've never been on a public bus, train, subway, etc. The only exception is a school bus.
It would be cool to have that option, though. I'm sure it would save me gas money and wear and tear on my vehicle.Comment
