I have a few acquaintances/friends who are from Australia and I've heard them say arse. They say it's the norm back home.

Parents (mostly young mothers) and expectant mothers on Facebook. Not everything that happens needs to be reported on Facebook. People need to keep some privacy to themselves.

I usually dont really care what people post on facebook. But I cant stand those

"Wow Im close to the edge, Im gonna do something bad, someone call the cops" *awaits eagerly to post 'I dont want to talk about it' to the first response* posts

On a similar note, people who constantly post emo/depressing lines from music as a means to get attention only to post a "haha its just a song lyric DUH!" Bitch please, you know you are fishing for attention.

Had an old co-worker, that was obese, posting about a flesh eating bacteria under her arms. Yeah, that's nice.

Needless to say, she was removed shortly thereafter.

On another similar note,

It doesnt happen often, but once in a while a friend will ask me something along the lines of "why are your statuses so pointless and random. They're so stupid"

For some context, a sample of 3 of my posts from the weekend:

Im just wondering am I suppose to ****ing post about how my boyfriend dumped me for his ex girlfriend for the 6th time or how jealous my ex boyfriend would be if he saw what I was wearing to the club on friday or how I dont think there is any point to life since my ex boyfriend wont take me back. HOLY **** I almost went to town on this girl who came at me with this bull**** yesterday.

I post pointless statuses because Facebook, contrary to popular belief, is NOT serious business. ****!

I rarely think about what I post anymore. I censor myself and keep things to myself, but what actually gets posted I don't really care. If people like it or respond that's cool, but I've never really liked being the center of attention so its never really about that.

Most of the stuff I post (aside from some rants here and there) are quotes from movies, music, or books and little snark remarks I like to come up with.

I rarely post on Facebook anymore. There is nobody on there that responds to them anyway. If I'm going to post something there, it most likely will also fit in with some thread here on OS. So why post it on Facebook where I get no responses when I can post it on OS where I know people will read it, at least, and most likely respond with something?

I couldn't even tell you the last time I posted a status on Facebook.

The people that need to know what I'm doing, where I'm at, or how I'm feeling will know. 1,000 other people I don't care about on a social network don't.

People really need to realize that.

I too am sick of 99% of the baby pictures...but I do enjoy seeing my nephew since they live 400 miles away.

People probably get sick of my Facebook posts though...It's pretty much the same thing over and over again. Some form of;

"Lets Go Bears"
"Lets Go Beavers"
"Lets Go Liverpool"
"Lets Go Giants"

When you open Facebook and your news feed is littered with crap all from the same person. They change their status every hour or two. I get it. You are out shopping. I don't need you to tell me every store you stepped foot in and what you ate for lunch. And you don't need to remind everyone every hour that the Walking Dead premiere is coming on. "Unsubscribe"
