People who treat you like a piece of junk and then at some point later try and act as if nothing happened. No thanks.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
ESPN is now blatantly lying to create a story.
They are interviewing a play by play guy who called one of the craziest endings to a game in recent memory for me (I happened to be listening live to the Cove guys). They have his voice over the original video, but whoever edited it cut back to the original video where the kid filming is going crazy screaming OMG, then cut back to the PBP. Then it backfired when the host called it out.Comment

I am only 4 years removed from being 18, I knew what was right and wrong 4 years ago. I'm sure I would not have been excused from doing something stupid because I was "just a kid".University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
When people say the phrase "That's what she said." after anything that is said. It's so tired now. I have a buddy that does this a lot and it has been starting to get on my nerves now. I just give a fake laugh but at some point I may have to tell him to knock it off.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
When people leave their dogs in the car. Used to see this all the time in Arizona in the summer (115 sometimes) especially at Wal-Mart. They would leave a small 2 inch crack in the window. I called the police on more than one occasion. People need to learn that it only takes a few minutes for a dog to overheat.

Lou Holtz... He's the only thing I hate about College Football. Hearing his annoying voice. Sometimes I don't even know what he's talking about. It's just a big mess of words.Comment

"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

They previewed the play and the call by the announcer 3 times during SportCenter and ended the show with it. The original airing didn't have the clarification that they merged two audio sources together to fabricate an over the top call.Comment
