I saw it today and once last week. I guess common courtesy isn't so common anymore.
I thought this was going down the trail where the ambulance drives in your yard because the cars won't move and it messes up the lawn.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

        1) So I just learned AT&T removed the "last gen" iphones from their lineup when you upgrade with a two year contract. You use to be able to get a generation back iphone for 99 cents with the upgrade.......no more!

Now they force you to either buy the phone out right or use the "next" plan to pay installments over two years for the phone. Then if you choose to USE the next plan they knock off $10 bucks or so on your line fee. So it doesn't matter if you choose to get a old piece of crap phone OR go with a extra $20+ a month brand spanking new "next" plan phone, you are coming out with similar monthly notes.

Its all about screwing the customer for the most money.

        2) Cable companies are known for hiding their "New customer" prices from current customers. They use cookies which will default you to a slightly different webpage which doesn't display new customer sign up prices. Do a cookie clear then go look at your current providers new sign up prices.

        $49.99 a month 250+ channels.....yadda yadda......sooooooo explain to me why I'm paying $110 a month for same package?!?!?!?!

Now I've been doing this routine for several years now and I'll explain for others if you've never done it. So I call and tell them I want to cancel my service. They ask why and I'll explain their prices are to high. At this point they will transfer you to a "retention specialist" which will give you a awesome low low price of "How does $86 a month sound?". I then play hard ball and say "NO, I want the $49.99 a month rate you are giving to new sign ups. I've been with you guys for 6 years now and you are making me foot the bill for new people.........ya'll running a Bernie Sanders socialist company over there?"

After some back and forth they always come down to the sign up price. It will be much shorter terms like 3 months to 6 months BUT it saves from wasting money.

Anyway, my current terms are up for my cable company and my bill is jumping from $56 to $106 this month, so I'm off to do battle again but really don't feel like it.

Side Note: Third gear grinder..............Cable companies putting the channels you want on ONLY the high price packages. Ohhhhh of course AMC, Bravo(my wife), Fox Sports 1, etc are only on the 250+ channel packages at $100 plus a month........seems logical I should waste money for a bunch of wasted channels I'll never watch
Playstation Vue, bro. $30 a month, 55 channels (about 30 of which are the good ones and all I ever watch on a 250+ channel package anyway). Cloud-based DVR, no contracts, no hassles. If you have good internet, it's 100% worth it to get out of the cable companies' bull****.

Throwing a bunch of stuff away from one house, we have four to five trash cans outside by the mailbox. People take things we put down at the street, no problem there. Less for the garbage guys you know?

So a neighbor from the street behind me comes down the street, starts moving a bunch of stuff out of two trash cans and tries to take the damn cans themselves. What the hell man?

That reminds me of what people in Chicago use to do all the time, steal other people trash cans. Got to the point people started spray painting their house address on the cans themselves. That way people couldn't lie and say that it was their can.

Luckily something I never have to worry about. The small town I live in, most of us just stack our bags at the curb for pick up, though some do use cans or plastic bins. The rest of the week, we store our full bags in the shed and carry them out morning of pickup.

It kind of annoys me that my neighborhood doesn't do recycling. I'm not sure if it's a Houston thing or just my neighborhood but if you want to recycle you have to take it to the plant which I'm not doing.

In my city (Lakewood, Ohio... which actually borders Cleveland) recycling is mandatory. They provided everyone in the entire city with two separate bins; brown for regular trash and blue for recycling. It's actually a really great system.

I don't see the appeal of stealing the cans though, the guy has like 4-5 on the side of his house .

Maybe there was so much that they wanted they couldn't carry it all. So they took it in the cans and were going to bring them back later.

                        Walmart, surprise.

I thought the price that rang up on the tape didn't jive with the sticker price I saw. So, I took two steps outside the sliding doors and two steps back inside.

I was stopped immediately by the door greeter and she asked me if I was returning something. I said, yes, and she said, stay right there, you aren't going anywhere, while she was checking a customers cart that was leaving the store. She then proceeded to lock arms with my arms, and I said, what are you doing. She said, they are really watching like a hawk. I said, I'm not going anywhere and she went to attend to the needs of the customer leaving, and in the middle of her walk, she looked back at me and said, you can't go anywhere. Where the heck would I go? Back in the store to put more stuff in the bag?

So, finally, she comes over to me, and for 10 minutes, she had that electronic gun and she couldn't find a sticker for produce. So, finally, after 10 minutes, she put a couple of red stickers on and said, now you can go to CS.

I'm calling Walmart now and complaining.

I felt like I was being treated as a criminal.

Best buy is easy, show them at the door, look at the item and receipt and put a sticker on it. Simple

I called corporate and supposedly the store manager will be calling me within 3 business days. Corporate said the employees are not suppose to touch customers.

I had two items in the bag, a bag of grapes and a diet coke.
