Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Being lied to by tech support, even after you ask and get their name and badge number. Had to transfer two Comcast emails from an old account to a new one, one we used for bills and one from my father. Was told two weeks ago by a rep "oh yeah, everything is transferred between accounts, no problem!".
Go to log into it today to make sure I paid the light bill and I'm locked out. Turns out the first guy didn't finish the process and now it's 4 days to a week to get it transferred with them "investigating". You bet a filed a complaint.Comment

So I guess a "service transfer" just activates it at the new address without canceling the old one so they can get you on the hook for two bills.Oakland Athletics San Jose Sharks

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I had a similar experience. When I moved out of my mom's house and got my own apartment, I'd gotten my own Comcast account/eamil but just kept using the one I had linked to her account. A few year ago my mom canceled her Comcast account and switched to Verizon and we attempted multiple times to get my email that was a secondary email under her account to be switched to my account. Despite them telling both of us that it had been done, I some time later I noticed I hadn't got any email in that account in a few days. Yeah, they never transferred the email to my account so when my mom's account was finally shut down, my email was shut down with it. I'd actually already been in the process of switching some things over the primary email for my account which I was going to use for more professional stuff as it is a more professional-sounding address but still use the old one for other things, but it was still rather annoying. I never did get that email switched to my account.
I moved recently and had Comcast Internet transfered to the new address. I called today to set up TV service for the baseball season, only to find out I've got a past due balance and service is still activated and being used at my old address.
So I guess a "service transfer" just activates it at the new address without canceling the old one so they can get you on the hook for two bills..

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
My launch 360 is finally on its final legs (won't read discs much anymore, and is super super loud) so I bought a "new" one off of eBay. I guess I ordered the last update e model that completely removed the optical out port which makes my headset worthless. SMH.
Also having to transfer everything over and redownload all of my digital games/DLC, etc onto the new Xbox.Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
If this wasn't so funny, I might be mad. Background, I had bought a squaretrade warranty for a tablet and tried to submit a receipt, but would never get a confirmation and the website would never say they had my receipt. I had tried 8 times over 8 months and in there did email them and they said it was received but the website never updated. Finally just gave up, I had my receipt if I ever needed the coverage. Today this happened (this is where I searched squaretrade in gmail, it's the message I got tonight and the last time I tried to submit my receipt)
Yesterday was the last day for the warranty.Last edited by Burns11; 04-04-2016, 02:15 AM.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
So I'm in The Show forums reading some of the posts and...
People think fastballs rise, curve balls go arm side, and off speed pitches should be thrown up in the zone.
