I love McDonald's breakfast, complete opposite for everything else there though. I won't eat there unless it is for breakfast.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
For me, fast food breakfast starts at the chicken biscuit and moves on from there. If you can't get that right, chances are I'm not eating your breakfast.
McDonald's biscuit is pretty good even though I never eat there, while Burger King's biscuit is garbage.
I don't care for fast food eggs and sausage is just okay.
I'm not really as picky as I sound here. I'll eat most anything if it's free or if I'm out of options, but I just can't get behind the thought of BK having a good breakfast.
Other fast food mentions: Hardees has great breakfast and Arbys sucks.
We're lucky here to have Jack's almost everywhere and they are the go to for fast food breakfast.Last edited by AUChase; 10-28-2013, 03:43 PM.Comment

Not knocking it, just not something I've ever grown up with, so interested to hear everyone's opinions.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Is the chicken for breakfast a southern thing? Just personally I don't think of ever eating chicken for breakfast....If there's meat involved it's usually bacon, sausage, or ham.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I feel like we're turning into OT in here, but..
A good southern breakfast at grandmas usually includes some of the following:
Biscuits, gravy, home made jelly, sausage, bacon, corned beef hash, deer chops, and some eggs.. friend or scrambled. I don't cook chicken for myself, when it comes to breakfast. It's just something I look for when I go out to eat.
Chicken and Waffles is the ultimate breakfast for me.. only thing better is my grandmother's home made buttermilk biscuits and gravy.
I'll eat anything, but if I was forced to eat one type of animal for the rest of my life it would have to be chicken for me. I figure that's more of a personal preference than a southern "thang"Comment

There's Spicy Chicken biscuits now? Damnit. Their chicken biscuits are great (worth the 30 minute road trip to me for their food over McD's), but the unsung heroes of breakfast are their chicken minis. Those little biscuits are like crack.

Spicy Chicken Biscuits from there are pretty good, but they really aren't that filling.. just wish you could get a biscuit from a local Jacks. I'll mail you one or something..

I love chicken though, so I agree overall. Have to try a spicy chicken biscuit sometime.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Legit.. redeye gravy and tomato gravy is popular with some of my family too, but it's not really my thing. I think you make redeye by mixing grease and coffee or something like that. It looks extremely unhealthy.. lol.Comment

Man, my egg whites or oatmeal with cinnamon is sounding real boring right now. Chocolate gravy? I need to step my breakfast game up.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Damn. Typically if I go to McD's or BK I have to get two chicken biscuits. Everybody tells me McD's is "the best," but I don't really find their biscuits to be noticeably better than BK though the chicken is slightly better.
What grinds my gears: Staunton not having a Chick Fil A.
Chocolate gravy? Ha. Is that in case normal sausage gravy and biscuits don't block your arteries by themselves?
