People that associate care with material purchases.

IE: You don't care about me because you took back the shirt I bought you at Christmas.

Trying to find an apartment/place to live. Review sites are useless because most people who review are doing it because they had a bad experience and you can't tell if that is the norm or not. I am thinking I am going to pay an extra couple hundred a month for a 2-3 bedroom house. A 1 bedroom apartment in my area goes for about $7-800 while a nice house you can get for about $1100.

I've come to the conclusion after reading reviews that every apartment in the world has terrible parking, crappy staff, and is loud.

Go to the building and talk to neighbors. Then use the gift of judgment to determine if that person is reliable or crazy.

I'm sure this has been said before, but these damn micro-transactions in our video games. Like what is happening to NBA 2K right now.

The problem, is that this crap seems like it's here to stay. And if they do stop it, I wouldn't be surprised if we start to see games get a $10 or even $20 bump on the retail price soon.

I'm drawing the line at $69.99 with everything included. Anything higher than that, they can kiss my ***.

If they raise the price, people won't stop buying video games. They'll just spend more wisely.

And that for me means not buying a sports game every two years. I might buy it three years later and wait for a collection of improvements that justify the price tag.

I would also take less leaps with titles, and those suffering sales will lead to more reboots and sequels rather than some creative originals.

Games will go the way of film.

Honestly I'm already looking into being more of a PSN indie title buyer than AAA one.

^I'm doing something similar now. Skipping every other year so that the game I get, will have 2 years worth of improvements on it.

Bought all 13 titles, so I've skipped the 14 titles and will wait for the 15 titles. Hoping also that next year we'll see prices go down on PS3 games since PS4 would be out for several months already by time NBA,NHL,Madden come out.

                        Amazon Book Rentals.

My one and only time ever using it. They told me I was suppose to return it in the regular mail, so I did.. than I called and they said I was suppose to take it right to the post office.

So, I'm probably going to get charged $70 for a book that I returned 3 weeks ago.

People(such as celebs/media and so on) usually do it so they can just get RTs while still giving credit for other peoples tweets.

Money doesn't mean nearly as much to me as my time. I'll pay a lot of money for a game that is really good and I'll spend a ton of time on. If there was a great football simulation, college basketball or boxing simulation out there, I would drop a ton of cash on the system to play it and the game to get it. Conversely, I wouldn't even play a mediocre title if it was free.

For example, about 5 years ago, I built a gaming PC just to be able to run Empire Total War on it. It was the genre I always wanted ever since I was a young kid. Being able to line up huge armies and slug it out with horse, musket and artillery. I spent about $1500 building the system. Empire and Napoleon are the only 2 games I have on my PC and I've put in hundreds of hours over the last 5 years playing those games. I don't regret it one bit. Tracking the amount of hours on steam I've put into those games, if I just look at the computer from a pure gaming perspective its about $1 or $2 per hour that I've spent on those games. I still love those two games and the graphics still hold up well and there are fantastic mods still coming out for them. If I find something I really like, I'll play the same game for years. Now I still use the computer for many non-gaming applications, but you get my point.

I don't really mind downloadable content, but what I really hate is retailer exclusive pre-order content that you can only get from a certain retailer through pre-order. Fight night did this with George Foreman and I never was able to get him because I bought the game from the wrong retailer. Give me the option to buy everything associated with the game as soon as its available, because if its an option and I like the game, I want to but the whole bundle and everything associated with the game.
                            Chalepa Ta Kala.....

The ridiculous amount of pointless threads and impatience by people in the MLB The Show forum. When's the release date? When are we getting new info? It's a daily thing in there.

I love the game as much as anyone in there, but man, I don't revolve my day around waiting for the next bit of news. When there is news it will be announced. No point in asking every single day.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, but it gets absurd in there this time of year.

The thing I never understand about those posts and other similar ones for other games is: this is operation sports. You're a member here because you know we post news as soon as it's available.

So logic says when news is available you'll know it. It will be posted at the top.

If you don't see it, that means there's no news.
