I don't mind bikes on the road. But if you're going to bike on the road, follow the traffic laws like everyone else. That means no running red lights just because you're on a bike.

The fact that I am old.
Seeing that the Jacksonville Jaguars have been around for 20 years now confirms this. I am now old.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Kay.
Obviously I am not actually old. I am aware that I am still a relatively young person.
Every now and then something happens that reminds me that while I am still young in the grand scheme, I have been around for a pretty decent chunk of time now and that is more literally what I was referring to.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Bikers are better off on sidewalks being an inconvenience to walkers than to cars on the road on streets without bike lanes.
I absolutely hate bikers on the streets because I can literally kill them in a split second if they accidentally fall. And when I'm forced to move over into the oncoming lanes to get around you because ur two foot wide bike has decided to take up almost half of my car lane, I and the drivers coming at me in the opposite direction are now in danger.
I just think the amount of danger caused by bikers who think they rule the streets is absurdly high and unnecessary.
I'm pretty sure there's laws that streets are for motorized vehicles that move at a minimum mph, bicycles do not qualify.
And back to the sidewalk bikers I'm sure they're a pain but if they trip on the sidewalk and fall, the risk of death is so little compared to the street.Comment

Its as if my neighborhood built sidewalks for absolutely no reason, people refuse to use them. They wold rather walk in the road and inconvenience drivers.
Then they let the kids play in the road, re throwing a ball around when there is more than enough space in the yard to do that. Or one that aggravates me even more, these little idiots who SIT in the road playing or talking...where is Darwinism when you need it??Comment

If there is no designated bike lane I agree that bikers are better on the sidewalk, but in my city there is an area of the street specifically for bikers to use so they don't interrupt car traffic or pedestrians, yet some will still ride on the sidewalk.Ohio State - Reds - Bengals - Blackhawks - BullsComment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I have 2 today.. both are for driving.. both are on the highway..
Driving on the highway.. The guy in the lane next to you has no one in front of him for over 100 yards.
YET...He decides to change into your lane and go much slower than you.
This one just happened to me over the weekend. We were driving on the far left lane of the highway (you know the fast late) Going about 75-80 mph. There is a car in front of us and a few cars behind me. We're all going about 75-80, and the speed limit is 65.
This idiot in front of me, sees a cop car, freaks out, then slams on the breaks going from 80mph to 45mph in about 3 seconds. Every car behind him (including me) did the same thing. We pass by the cop and even he was looking at the dumb driver shaking his head and calling him an idiot.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
My headphone cord is gonna get ruined real soon. The piece near the jack is almost completely worn out/bent(so the outer part of the cord has basically been cut through cause it's been bent so much).
This is the only problem I ever have with headphones I got. Whenever they get damaged,it's all cause of that same reason. These were my fave ones I've had cause the sound is real good, it's not earbuds(which I'm never going back to again),has volume control, and I got for a great price.
Might just switch to cordless headphones cause if the cord is the only problem I ever have with my headphones, cordless is probably the way for me to go.Comment
