"Daddy Long Legs" spiders. They are too small to bite, don't really hurt anything, yet these guys love to pop up in random corners around the house. I've seen a influx of them this summer, not sure where they're sneaking in from.Comment

It's like I said a couple of months ago...it always seems funny how majority of the times whenever a food place ever messes up an order,it just happens to be because they gave you less than you asked for. It's never something like you ordered a burger and medium fries and they accidentally give you more fillings in the burger and large fries. If a mistake happens,it always ends up something like a burger with barely anything in it,and small fries.Comment

Went to get a growler filled last week at a local brewery. Put the growler on the bar in front of me when I sat down. When the bartender asked, I nudging the growler forward and named a beer. She brought me a pint instead and as she's putting it down says "You meant in the growler didn't you? Pint's on the house" grabbed the growler and went off to fill it.Oakland Athletics San Jose Sharks

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Finding out my roommate is in Austin this weekend.
From a picture he posted on Facebook.
It's not that he's there, it's that he didn't tell me he was leaving. Not a text, a note on the fridge, anything.Boston Red Sox

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I ordered a McDouble, two things of Nuggets and a large fry once. Got one of those real large bags they give you for big orders but didn't check until I got home...
I got double everything. It was a glorious day.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Contractors!
Got a contractor to do some work on my house, so they came and looked at everything that needed to be done, gave an estimate on the price, and the price was agreed on,and they said they'd come a certain day, so I had the day lined up to make sure I was home so they'd be able to come and do the work........then they didn't show up. They later said they'd come a day or two later, so I waited again until those days and they still didn't show up.
Not the first horrible experience with contractors. Honestly, how hard is it to just show up? Seems like most of the contractors I can ever find end up lying, suddenly adding on hidden fees to the original price,or just don't show up. It's not like they're some random people either, it's ones who've done work on other houses in my area so it's not like they don't ever do any work.
Is it really that hard to find a contractor who'll say they'll do work during a certain timeframe for a certain amount of money, and have all that actually be true?Comment
