Attending a regular season baseball game in person is definitely a different experience than any other sport. Being there with a small group of friends, watching a regular season game that is otherwise meaningless, baseball doesn't impose or force itself on you. Win or lose, you can just enjoy the sport for what it is, & have a great atmosphere for conversation with said friends, to boot. I'd rather meet up with friends at a ballpark than, say a coffeeshop, any day.

All I read is "Its a place for me to hang out with friends, the virtually meaningless baseball game in the background is just the side show". I'll put it to you like this, most boring *** events are exponentially more fun with your friends.

However I completely understand what you are saying. Last baseball game I went to, my friends dragged me to a yankee game on my 23rd birthday. We hardly payed attention to the game, as in barely, and spent the 12 hours of the game joking, clowning, reminiscing, more or less hanging out. Point being the game was irrelevant, and sleep inducing. I'd rather chill at the crib personally, or go out. I will give it up to playoffs games though. Much more enjoyable.

It was cool seeing the new stadium though. And we got free Mariano Rivera bobbleheads that night!

Gnats! Seriously...there's literally thousands of them on every block! Impossible to go anywhere without having so many out there. Hard to see at times cause they just fly so close to each other and you're bound to walk in to them eventually. Even worse looking outside and seeing hundreds of them right around the screen of the window.

lol,I posted this almost exactly a year ago, still true tough. Today was first real day of the year I saw so many of them outside!

Crappy hot dog buns grind my gears. The kind where you have to remove damn near half of it because it's hard, and when you do put the dog in it, the bottom breaks right down the middle.

Same with hamburger buns. Those nasty, bargain basement store ones that taste like white bread. Potato buns(think Arnold makes them) are amazing.

My Xbox is starting to have the same issues so that is why I'm gradually going digital with the games I own/owned when they are on sale. It helps that they now support 2TB hard drives. Just got to get one of those.

Along with this, waking up to take a leak in the middle of your sleep and having your mechanics active for some stupid reason so you piss and it goes like it's a ****ing firehose. And the worst part is you're mostly asleep so you don't even know WHERE the hell you're pissing.

Oh man I feel you on this. Me and my wife been together 10 years and I swear its a constant question. Then I hit them with, "When I can afford to have a kid!" , the biggest gear grind comes next "You just got to do it, you will find a way to afford it".........wait so you telling me to be irresponsible, then saying a magic $500 a month for daycare is just going to appear. GTFO with that ****. Drives me up the wall.
