        Sorry 'bout that.
Been trying to throw those old trashcans away for weeks now.
The garbagemen just don't seem to pick up on that.

lol, speaking of that, I saw some people trying to throw some things away, but garbagemen(and random night people who go through peoples garbage) never take it!

Someone left a couch right on the street corner, and it stayed there for months! Nobody ever took it, no animal(that I could see) ever attacked it or lived in it. Nobody touched that thing once. Another time, someone left their bike just on the side of their street, and nobody ever took it....Sure,it wasn't the best looking bike, but I mean, almost anything gets taken if you just leave it out in front of your house. Especially metal things(since in summertime,I see some guys driving around in a pickup truck every week in the night, just going through top of peoples bins to get scrap metal or something).

That's something even I'd do. If I don't got space in garbage bin,or just feel like maybe someone else could use something,I'd intentionally just leave it near the roadside and by next morning, someone would've gone with it. It's happened with an old tv,a few printers and some other things too. lol, once some guy even took an old bathtub. Saw people were taking it out, then just asked if he could have it instead. lol sure go ahead, saved abunch of money instead of having to put that stuff in a dumpster.

The slowest damn people in the entire store all clogging the u-scans at the same time. I swear these people do it on purpose just to ruin convenience for everyone else. Some even seem to intentionally slow their pace when they notice you patiently waiting behind them. I don't understand why it takes so long for people to fill up their bags and gtfo. I do understand some people put more emphasis in the grouping of items, but to take it to the extent some of these old ****s do is ridiculous. It doesn't take 5 minutes to bag 20 items, you should have some idea of how you're going to bag it already, not just lining everything up at the end of the scanner and then standing there excogitating the best bagging strategy while everyone else pretends to doodle on their phones so we don't accidentally make eye contact.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

Having to wake up possibly before 6am and give a presentation while I'll probably be half asleep during the entire part, not to mention won't be having breakfast before it.

Not looking forward to that at all, I am however looking forward to just getting it over with, cause this should very well be last time ever I'd have to do this. Just gotta get this stuff out of way, and before I know it, I'll be back at home and playing The Show for only really the 3rd or 4th real time since it released.

Just hope I don't choke. Cause for me,presentations either go horribly or great, no in between. I've had stuff so good that people who barely knew me(and weren't even there when it happened) were talking about it in a good way, and some so bad, you could tell people had no interest in it at all.

When people won't go to sports games because "it's better to just watch at home". Yeah it's more comfortable and your view is probably better. But sitting at home can't re create the atmosphere of 18000 hockey fans cherring. Or 80000 bills fans.

OK my rebuttal to this as a fan who likes to stay home. Why I love it. No need to wait 10 minutes to use the bathroom, or get food that 10 X as much as what I can get at the local grocery store. Paying 10 bucks for a 36 pack of nice cold cans of Bud instead of 9 bucks for a single watered down beer. Being able to drink as much as I want and get trashed and not worry about getting cut off. Getting to able to sit on my nice comfy couch instead of seats I barely fit (looking at you Fenway). Also not spending money on gas to get to and from the game. Need I go on.

Depends on the sport. Baseball, hockey, and soccer are all way better live. Football is way better on TV.

I'll take the atmosphere at my house over a ''being there'' the majority of the time.
                            1) I don't want 80,000 Bills fans in my house,
& 2) My wife & her gf's while I'm on my couch are easier on the eyes & easier to deal with than the vast majority of smelly sweaty fans, public urinals & long concession stand lines.

For me the perfect ratio is 25 games on the couch to every one game attended in person.

Disagree to an extent. Even then, that really depends on the kind of football. If you're in college at a big school or school with a history of being intimidating (LSU, Oregon, Texas A&M, Wisconsin, Florida) then watching on TV will never compare to actually being there.

You don't get to experience this sitting at home.

But the NFL? Going to an NFL game is rarely worth it, especially if it's a noon game.

Related to my last post: college football games being scheduled in "neutral sites"

It was a cool novelty at first when LSU played Oregon in Houston to start the year. It made a lot of sense, Houston is the largest out of state alumni base for LSU and it helps recruitment in the state. I was fine with it. Would have liked a home and home with Oregon more, but hey. This was after we opened in Atlanta vs. North Carolina, which made sense because again, huge alumni base and it's good for recruiting.

But now it's gotten out of hand and we're losing home games. I went to Houston for the Wisconsin game, and it was there that I realized this is bull****.

Wisconsin fans are a LOT like LSU fans, down to our drinking habits, tailgating style, and our FCC hating student sections. But instead of Wisconsin fans missing out on The Most Famous 4 Notes, Neck, and Bitch I'm From Louisiana, they got to play us in a lifeless NFL stadium. And instead of me crossing Camp Randall off my sports bucket list, which is it VERY high on and experiencing Jump Around, Buttercup, and Eat ****/**** You, I get to go to a *slightly less* lifeless NFL stadium, and I get to see scenic Green Bay!

Lambeau is cool and I'd like to go there, just not for a Wisconsin game. I'd take Camp Randall over Lambeau 8 days of the week.
And may thy spirit live in us, Forever LSU
