Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
It's just a gear grinder of mine. Half of the posts in this thread aren't that big of a deal. (Mine included).Comment

When you order pizzas and they don't cut it all the way through, so you end up having to cut both pizzas yourself.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
(Inside note, this pizza place is always "slow", 15 minutes takes 35 40..............I tell the wife I ordered it, then I go there and then after 2 beers I order the pizza, that gives me time for 2 more. That grinds my wife's gears, she knows my game though yet I still play it. Worst part, I have beer on draft at home, but I like playing the game, been doing it for years)Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I love being a manager and accept all the responsibilities that it brings but it's frustrating at times being held accountable for things out of my control.
Some employees (which I didn't hire) just suck and no amount of managing will fix them.
So yea, I guess that's a gear grinder lol.
I got a puppy to play with though so I don't take out my frustrations through text.Last edited by kehlis; 05-24-2015, 02:00 PM.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I provide the reporting and data analysis for the department and repeatedly see errors that must be redone. If the same work must be reviewed and redone, how much money is the company truly saving in hiring contractors vs. FTEs? Ironically, my performance at year's end is dependent on their performance...people who are not vested in the company.
My boss (director over the department) just doesn't understand.
SpoilerI'm not implying that contractors are stupid, rather the hiring process and the hiring managers have no idea what they're doing or what they should be looking for in a candidate.Last edited by Speedy; 05-24-2015, 02:21 PM.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I ordered a box of 1000 plastic bags from Amazon and it's serving me well.
Also, Jeremy's post about "hot takes." All that **** needs to die a fast death. It's easily one of the most annoying things people do, rankingly slightly below calling everything "hating on" or one of those variations. You realize your "SCORCHHHHHHHHING HOT TAKE HERE!" is *way* more annoying than the original post or article or opinion you're talking about, right? Maybe stop paying attention to those "HOTTEST OF HOT TAKES!" then. Like, you're not cool and smarter and above it all by saying those things and making fun of it with your catchy catchphrase. In fact, you're just part of a separate hive mind. What an annoying "thing" now.Last edited by TheMatrix31; 05-24-2015, 03:52 PM.Comment

When ppl cut down trees in their backyard so now its no longer private! Before i could rarely see ppls driveways/backyards in summer cause trees blocked it. But as of late, lots of them have cut down trees so now i can see their entire yard and straight into their house all from my backyard. Even worse with people who got dogs, cause those dogs can now see people from further away and has more people to bark at.Comment
