Yeah, it's ridiculous. Somewhere along the way, fantasy sports became more important than real sports. And worse yet, people base their evaluation of player ability based on their fantasy production.

I'm usually a big fantasy player, but that is something I've never got. If I have say Ben Tate on my team, I'm hoping he has a horrible game against the Steelers, regardless if I'll win my fantasy game.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Yea I agree, I'd rather the Pack win the SB and me finish dead last in FF than me win the league and them have a bad year...and I'm in 2 pay leagues (one for $100 to the winner, another pays top 3 $800, $300, $100).Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
The fact that video games are huge scams. A company can release a game, the game has so many bugs/glitches in it,yet they release it just like that with no problems and are allowed to profit big time on half broken games. If a microwave or fridge or tv or something like that has problems months after you buy it,you can return it for your money back, and depending how serious it is,there might even be recall issued.
If a video game has problems/parts of it doesn't work or just messes up or something, you can't return it unless it's within first few weeks or so of buying it. After that, you're just stuck with it and forced to read all other internet comments with people having so many of the same issues as you which will never get fixed even though game releases annually and problems carry over from game to game.
Just amazes me how this is allowed. Surely someone can step in and have some sort of rule where video game companies are forbidden from releasing a game if it has major bugs in it. Maybe even force them to go through bug/glitch testing and all where if a certain amount of bugs/glitches are found, they're not allowed to release the game(if that were the case though,EA Sports would be out of business lol)Comment

You know this is an issue, so why buy something on release?Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Cause there's many games(at least sports games) which don't even fix some major problems and have those problems in the game year after year. I know what someone will say...."If you don't like it,then don't buy it", but I'm sure people, especially on this site, will understand how much it sucks to not get a video game in a specific year(or even multiple years) for a sport you like, because of the problems in the games which go unfixed.Comment

How do you distinguish between the game just isn't perfect and a "bug"? I dunno, just seems like a slippery slope. I've long accepted that games aren't perfect and since I cut down on my purchases I usually vet my games pretty well to make sure I don't get screwed.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment
