I agree though, it does bug me sometimes when there is a LOT of criticism about not winning championships without any context at all.

      Screw that.

I'm from the old school; we call it like it is. Too bad if you can't handle it.

I first noticed this awful trend back in the late 90's when my Bulls were going for their second 3-peat. A particular guy who played soft on those squads, was Toni Kukoc. But don't you dare say anything bad about him. It doesn't matter if he played swiss cheese D. People weren't having it. Yeah, okay.

I also have noticed it recently with the Blackhawks, and now it's starting to rear its ugly head with the Cubs. Some of these "fans" are like....don't you dare criticize Theo, or Castro, etc.

To these people, it's almost like it's a 'badge of honor' to blindly support and defend your squad, regardless of circumstance. As if they are "a better fan" than you.....lol. Damn, I can't stand that crap. And 9 times out of 10, it comes from one of these 'johnny-come-lately' "fans". Sort of like some Heat fans from the past few years(not anyone here). It's like they're trying to compensate for something because they know they weren't there in the beginning.

Honestly, it doesn't make you any "less of a fan" to properly critique a player or players on your beloved team(s). If fact, it makes you look more forthcoming and cultivated.

      Thanks for reading.

It's not always on purpose. I drive a Silverado and it's front heavy. So in the rain I have to start off a lot slower. If I don't think about it I spin out.

They do know that you can customize laces on literally ANY shoe that uses laces...right??

I guess they want kids to buy Under Armour branded laces. I kid you not, when I was in high school there were kids who ONLY bought Nike branded laces, Nike branded socks.

So that is probably why they put that tag on there, to let people know they sell their own brand of laces.

What grinds my gear is "MULTI-TASKERS" people who can't ever sit and get 1 thing done at a tme and when you have a project needing to be done they cant finish their part cause they dont have the attention span nor know how to prioritize what needs to be done and what they feel like doing. Then end up finishing late or me doing all the work.

                          My dumb female landlord.

Our smoke detector started going off today. We have high ceilings and no ladder.. so after it would constantly go on and off and then slowly dying... I came to the conclusion the battery is going bad.

We call to let her know and to bring a ladder or help us change the battery.

But instead she tells us that it's an "electric smoke detectors and there is no battery attached."

                          Seriously?

She then calls us back and says that after researching the internet she has concluded it does not have a battery.. wtf?

Then she says that if it does go off again to check the fuse box and we can turn off the fuse for it.

Can this chick be any dumber?

Get up, let the dogs out, clean the puke then when I finally start to doze back off the dog pukes again.

When you send a work email asking for help, and try to be as detailed as possible, and get a reply that shows that the person didn't read through all the detail that you provided. I'm still new at my job and I'm trying to learn everything, but when you don't read my correspondence, what's the point? Also, it's not easy, as we're three hours apart. Unfortunately, this is a recurring issue, as no one seems to want to read my emails (and I communicate better through text than speech).
