Being managed by two people that don't seem to speak to each other, with daily major shifts in priority, as I'm trying to get my feet under myself in a horribly designed/written/conceived product.

      Being a remote worker.

I suppose I can go ahead and just say my job.

How every chick I know is excited about the announcement that Friends is going to be on Netflix.

Uhhhhhhhhhhh, Friends is on like 25 times a day across all channels. It's on Local TV, TBS, Nick @ Nite, it's going to start on TVLand, and I'm sure it's on a couple other channels I'm not even aware of.

            So ridiculous.

It's like me with Seinfeld. I never bought the DVDs or bothered to DL all the episodes. Why? Because it's on a jizzilion times a day.

Yeah but those channels all have commercials. I catch at least 1 episode of Seinfeld every day on the TBS evening block, can't resist lol, but if it came to Netflix I'd be stoked.

I wouldn't really care. If I wanted episodes on demand, I could just stream them elsewhere. Meh.

But basically everyone has DVRs....If you want to watch a show, just record it and skip all commercials. Friends still airs a fair amount in Canada, still get maybe 2-3 episodes a day,but they're at times like 3am or something(which is why if I ever feel like watching it,I'd just record the 3am airing and watch it the day after)

Having to direct traffic. I absolutely hate it. The death stares I get from people actually does bug me and I just hate being that guy who has all their anger focused on me.

Yes I went to bed excited because I knew that when I woke up I would get to wear a lame bright vest and stand in the middle of an intersection to inconvenience you for five minutes of your day. There's no place on Earth I'd rather be than causing you misery and making you late for your...oh wait you don't have anything to do other than get home and watch a TV show. It was 100% my decision to make sure I personally caused you this temporary inconvenience.

I'd rather have the people in the streets yell at me, flick me off, say I'm harassing them, and call me slurs. That's my comfort zone and I can deal with it.

Reminds me of I believe last year on here where someone was basically saying there's no reason why anyone should not have an hd flat screen TV in this day and age.

                        No one knows everyone's situation.

I was thinking the exact same thing earlier during my shift. Got stuck on traffic control on one of the city's busiest streets during rush hour traffic. Cracks me up because you put a little ripple in their commute home and they lose all sensibility. And then it is like they have absolutely no other way home if they have to be detoured.

Yeah I caught some grief because I watch TV on a SDTV and the bottom line score ticker is cut off on CBS.

With Friends and Seinfeld coming to Netflix all they need is Golden Girls and I could get down to basic cable and only use it for sports. If it wasn't for sports I wouldn't have cable at all. Plus, I have yet to figure out the rotation for a lot of these syndicated shows as far as episode order goes.

I would actually prefer it that way. I hate the ticker.
