A ton of my favorite youtube gaming channels all playing Among Us, after months of Fall Guys. I swear there some kind of collusion going on with some of these games. Russia connection? Release the tapes.

      What about "boss"?

Theres ALWAYS that guy (the same guy in both these instances) who calls people boss, or "my friend".

"Sport" feels more like the divorced dad trying to make his son feel special with a nickname that sounds like he's the only person in the world who has ever been called sport.

And calling anyone over 10 years old "sport" seems weird.

I don't really remember the exact model for all the things in my house, shouldn't need to start looking at the back or moving stuff around.
And by time you finally find the model number, no info exists on it because that company pumps out new models of the same thing every few months and the one you bought has no support or info online. Only search results are old amazon.com unavailable stock page and 1 person who at some point in time was selling that item on Ebay, but the listing is done.

to be fair, the guy doesn't call everybody at work sport. he calls the women at work ''muh lady''. so he isn't just weird, he's weird and creepy

I know I've mentioned it before (maybe in this thread), but I love when guys call me "boss." Not like colleagues or underlings, which I haven't heard before anyway. I think I most often hear it in the service industry, maybe like at a drive thru window haha. "You want some extra ketchup with that, boss?" I don't know, I always liked it.

My only association with "my friend" was this one guy named Victor who made omelets at the dining hall at SDSU. I went most every weekday morning for five years, and he was there like 80% of the time. I like how he'd go: "What's going on, my friend? Usual?" Awesome how he knew my order, among other folks (who he also likely said "my friend" to). Anyway, I don't know who else actually says it besides snakey business salesmen, but given my history with the phrase and who said it, it's been a good saying to me.

I hear 'my friend' quite a bit, gotta get the 'my friend' often, love getting the 'my friend', especially from strangers. except, like you say, from salesmen.

I know we were once talking about Little Caesar's a bit ago, but one time at the LC nearby SDSU, I went to pick up a pizza, and this big black dude inside goes: "Yo wutup Barry?" and does the handshake-hug thing (I don't know what it's called), then leaves. I just went along with it, and the cashier laughed.

Maybe he just calls everyone Barry? I had no idea.

Never really meant people saying "boss" or "my friend" was a bad thing. The guys who say that are usually chill guys.

The few 'boss' encounters have been from true dudes, so there is an air of cool to it. Made me feel like I was a fellow dude, lol.

I hate when horror movie characters can't describe their experiences to other characters aptly.

Like if a character experiences a situation where some demonic ghost girl climbs all over the walls and ceiling, yelling "I'M GOING TO TAKE YOUR SOUL" and knocks you across the room and flat on your ***, when someone asks what happened the character will translate that to: "I saw a girl."

I really dislike horror as a genre. I could go on and on about why, but ultimately it boils down to I just don't like it. Any reason I could give could immediately be refuted by someone who likes the horror genre.

There was a stretch of time (I can't remember exactly when, maybe just immediately preceding the 'comic book movie' era) where it seemed like every movie that came out in the theater was some generic looking horror movie, and it just drove me nuts. But not more than every movie being a comic book movie, I guess.

I don't like the problems that a lot of horror movies have, which today is really the reliance on the jump-scare (and the need to want to show them in all of their trailers, no less).

Most of my favorite horror movies play the story first and the horror elements second. My two favorite horror movies are The Ring and Saw, and I could just watch those all day.

Not so much a horror movie specific thing (although I dont care for them in general), but really any show or movie that does the following I hate.

A moment happens, people are talking softly and/or music plays softly and you can barely hear much of what's going on until OUT OF NOWHERE THE VOLUME JUMPS TO MAX AND MUSIC STARTS PLAYING OR SOMEONE YELLS.

I hate those moments because it feels like my heart skips a beat when it happens. It doesn't scare me, just startles me. Doesn't even have to be a scary movie or scene, even in general just a regular scene on a show or movie it could randomly happen.
