Regarding the spoiler thing, that's why Roger Ebert had the perfect system for me. Once you became acquainted with his taste, and ours were similar, all I needed was the star rating to help me decide if I wanted to see the movie and then read the review after watching it.

Also annoying: when someone tells you how funny something is, then pulls up a clip right there and watches you watch it.

Even if it’s funny, I almost feel less like laughing because I‘m aware that I’m being watched for my reaction.

I'm really bad at taking suggestions from other people, especially forced ones. This includes movies to watch, songs to listen to, etc. And it's funny because I'm not only consciously aware of the fact that I am, but I'm surprised other people are so good at doing this when I'm actually dreadful at it.

Instead, I mostly only take a liking to want to do something when I believe it's my idea to have done it. Hell, this might even be for voice impressions or something as well, haha. I mean I can get insight from somebody who leaves a review for a movie and even recommends it, but if they are the ones who are the deciding factor in me wanting to watch it, I'm less enticed to do so.

Back to what you said, that's especially tough because my sense of humor can be sparse depending on certain things. If I'm watching that because a laugh is expected of me, it's... it's probably going to be harder to get me on that as a result unless it's legit hilarious.

Definitely bad at the recommendations thing too. If someone recommends a movie or TV show I am for sure not going to watch it. Not because I don't trust their judgement, but because I generally just do most things on a whim. Aside from work and meals and sleep, everything else is just off the cuff a lot of the time.

But it's also because I am generally into more obscure stuff anyways. I am more likely to be watching a 2 hour playthrough of a 2002 era isometric RPG on youtube, or a movie from the 1920s on Prime, than anything on Netflix or actual TV. Not gonna get many recommendations for that stuff irl lol.

I'm really into old school Noir movies and while good, stuff like that is hard to go "Hey man, check out The Big Sleep from 1946, it's great!" to random friends.

Yeah you have to know people who are serious serious film buffs. Like they took film theory classes in college level film fans. Or find someone in their 90s. Even baby boomers are too young for those movies, often times. Anything pre-1950, or something that doesn't have John Wayne, Marilyn Monroe, etc, it's tough relating it to most people under like 70.

Comcast not carrying the ACC network. Haven't been able to watch either of Pitt's first 2 games and won't be able to watch at least the next 2 either as they have/will be all on ACCN.

Yep. Over the years I've gotten use to having ESPN in a tab open with the gametracker, nervously refreshing when it takes a while to update because something bad probably happened

People who try to enter a street right in front of you which forces you to hit the brakes or run right into the back of their car at the last second. Idiots.

I'm guessing you mean when they commit at the last second without warning?

Because I hate when I'm that car, I give plenty of advance notice, and I feel like the car behind me just says "I'm going to continue at 50 MPH so good luck whipping around your corner!" and I'm screeching my tires in like a madman into my neighborhood because they can't help but stay on the gas pedal.
