I must say that I hate SEC fans, again. It needs to be said more then once. That is all.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
my boss and my job grind my gears.. I am tired of being treated as the "newbie" when I've been there for 5+ years (and there is someone with less experience there).. also today, my boss calls me telling me about a Christmas party which I cant attend because I am working... how about CHECKING THE SCHEDULE WHICH YOU MADE?? I really hate itComment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
This doesn't so much grind my gears as amuse me but is semi-annoying to listen to. We have 2 professors who teach Trusts & Estate, one is known to be harder than the other. There is a group of girls complaining how unfair it is the harder professor made his exam open book whereas the easier one didn't and how unfair it is. Excuse me but you're the cowards who took the easier prof to avoid the hard one, don't complain because it didn't work your way in the end.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Sorry if these have been said before, I can't possibly read through this many pages.
People who say "That's funny!" instead of actually laughing.
People who pronounce schedule, SHED SHOE ULL.
People who go to the 10 items or less register with like 30 things.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I tend to get pretty vocal about that if I'm there with my wife, always to her displeasure. If you have 11-12 items and every other line is long, fine, more than that you're a douche bag. I wish the cashiers would tell them to leave.
My other favorite, people who use the self checkout and write a check, which takes more time than if they had just gone to a normal line.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
... people who talk on AIM that think everything said in a convo is amusing or answer to amuse.
"Hey dude, you're rap voice sounds just like Von Pea, you should check him out"
"Oh really!? Darn! Now I have competition!"
"..."
(no. you don't. you hardly qualify to be nearly any kind of competition for anyone especially Von Pea and saying that was a complete waste of my time)SAN ANTONIO SPURSComment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I might have said this already but it's worth repeating.
People grind my gears. People walking down the street most especially grind my gears. People walking down the street that stop suddenly or slow down at inappropriate times during rush hour while the streets are crowded and everyone is carrying large bags on each hand in the cold weather with the closest place for shelter is a subway that is three blocks away and you don't even want to walk there but the crowd is basically pushing you in that direction really frickin' grinds my gears."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace
"You'll not find more penny-wise/pound-foolish behavior than in Major League Baseball." - Rob NeyerComment

The aggressiveness of bad drivers. You're not a competent driver, slow down and keep your stupid ****ing eyes on the road.Blind to this impending fate

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Lazy people that can't walk 10 feet to put away a shopping cart and instead just put it in the empty spot next to them or wedge it up on a island. Meanwhile, those roaming carts get a little wind behind them and roll into someones car.
I called a lady out the other day for it and she acted like she didn't hear me...on top of which she parked inbetween two spots (She was driving a Toyota Sequioa).Comment
