Group work is arguably the most awful tradition in school. Why should I be forced to work with people who may or may not be willing to put in the same time as everyone else in the group?

People who get awesome seats to sporting events when they don't even like the team, and then either a) flaunt it or b) don't use the damn tickets. This year a friend of mine had two in-the-action ($200!) seats for a Jays-Yanks game. I'm talking to her the next day since I went to the game myself, and the conversation went something like this.

Her: Was the Blue Jay game any good yesterday?
Me: Yeah..they won. Why?
Her: Well, I had these tickets, but I went to a movie instead. I didn't know if I should've asked you if you wanted them.
Me: Oh...where were the tickets?
Her: Oh, something called in the action or something. Apparently they're right near homeplate. Where did you sit?

There's this one guy at my school (York University) who constantly badgers me about liking Auburn but not liking the York teams. If he did it once, fine. But every single damn time I see this guy he just rips on Auburn and the NCAA in general, and then claims something about patriotism. Stupid people.

On that note, the lack of college football coverage in Canada. Do I really need to be watching ****ing poker tomorrow night when the Canadian equivalent of ESPN (TSN) could show the Auburn game? Or did I really need to watch a strongman competition instead of the epic Alabama-Arkansas game in September? At least if some quality programming was on I wouldn't care, but day-um.

5 hour playoff baseball games.

The fact that I should be studying for the four midterms next week, but instead I'm sitting on a videogame message board posting what pisses me off.

You are right man, I had to spend a couple of months in Canada for work and the TV sucksssss.

what grinds my gears is when you have a service call from a company to come out and they can't tell you what time they're coming so you have to sit around all day on your day off waiting for them!

I remember Adelphia Cable had a deal where if they were late they took $10 off your bill. On one night we had $40 cut off of our bill as they kept assuring us it would be another 15 minutes, so sure enough we set a timer and waited. When it went off we called and got the discount, god I hope it didn't come out of the shemale's check. Yes, when the Adelphia person showed up we could not tell if it was a man or woman, which made the night a little more amusing.

The other night the gf is giving me a survey. One of the questions was: If you could have sex and your significant other would never find out, would you? The next question was the same except it included a celeb of my choice.

Those questions just flat out suck. You just know you can't win sometimes. For example, if you get asked something like "if you could sleep with any other celebrity who would you sleep with", and you say "nobody, just you", while technically one of the best things you could say, she just assumes you wont answer the question so you must be hiding something. If you answer with an actual celeb you either get "oh so you've been thinking about her" or a comparison as to what that celeb has that is different from your girlfriend. Ugh.

I really hate all hypothetical questions, because I know somehow they will lead to some sort of problem.

Players on the basketball team that try to A: suck up to the coach because they think they'll get more playing time and B: act like you're the assistant coach.

Also, during our basketball game last night, our coach was commenting on how we couldn't get a rebound and we needed someone who could box out. This one sophomore's like "coach, I can box out". It's like dude, please. Stop trying so hard.
