I had my ear pierced, I haven't wore a earing for about 10 years maybe longer, but the whole never closed. Evey once in while I would open it back up just to see if I could.

Strange, when I was 23 I had a sudden urge to get studs in both my ears as well. I never went through with it though since I figured I'd take them out in a year or two.

Ive got both of my ears pierced. My girl bought me a pack of earings that look like M&Ms and I can match the colors with whatever I wear. I'm known around campus partly because of it.

I like having my ears pierced.

My mom always wanted me to get my ear pierced, and now this thread is making me almost want to do it.

I'd prefer to get a tattoo, though, since I can cover that up for work.

Although I hate tattoos to begin with, the worst thing about having a tattoo is, unless you want to pay some money or cut some skin off, you'll be flashing some spiderwebs when you're eighty years old.

That's why you go with the Roy Orbison tattoo on your ***. No one is going to look at an 80 year olds ***.

Also, there is this new ink that costs a little more, but it's composition allows it to be erased rather easily and much more cost effectivly.

That's why I wouldn't get something stupid and trivial. I want something that would actually mean something to me my entire life.

Plus, I doubt I'll make it to eighty years old.

I never had any desire to get any piercings or tattoos. The only jewelry I wear is my wedding band. I'm not into fashion so an earring to me means just one more thing I'd have to do that I don't have to do.

I'd never get earrings, the look of them on guys doesn't appeal to me, but I have nothing against them....I don't wear any other jewelry either, so maybe that's a part of it.

So you're saying that a guy with no earrings has a look that appeals to you....

I got my ears pierced pretty suddenly when I did to, went over to my friends for a night of drinking and apparently his girlfriend thought I should have my ears pierced so in my drunken state I was easily persuaded and when I woke up the next day I had an ear ring in each ear. Apparently she just took the ear ring and pushed it through my ear to, no needles for me!

I have since taken them out and the holes have closed back up but I'm considering getting them pierced again, this time professionally, although she did a great job on them they were even and everything, amazing job considering she was drinking to.

Lol, for some reason that story just made me crack up.
