I do understand that, for five years my wife has been all over me to quit, same thing with close friends and family.........but a person will not quit anything, let alone an addiction, until the reason to quit is personally relevant enough to be deemed more important then the addiction itself...
If I would have quit for her or anyone else...during the really irritable times, it would have been alot easier to lash out on her, because I could project my anger at her as she was the one that was "causing" this to happen. When I quit for myself first and other peoples requests are just compensatory by-products...than I did it for the right reason..
