Everyday. Usually less than 5 minutes per call. I go home about every 4-5 weeks for a day or two since my sister is pregnant(and due on the 24th of all freaking days in the year)

I call them both every day. I like calling everyday and chatting for like 10 to 20 minutes. It lets me get all the local news from home and keeps me updated on all of my relatives and neighbors. Its something I have actually grown to look forward to after I moved out.

I call my Dad about twice a week. Sometimes he will call me. He lives about 30 minutes away, is alone (my Mom passed away) and in his 80's, so I get over there as much as I can to help him with stuff around the house.

My wife talks to her Mom every day on the phone.

I talk to my parents usually 3-4 times a week for a few minutes. If I don't talk to them for 5-6 days, they will call me to make sure I'm still alive.

Biggest thing I miss. When my Dad was alive, any sports thing happened, I'd either call him or he'd call me. Any big news. I have so many fond memories of that. Like Randy Johnson's perfect game, I was watching something else, he called in the 8th, and basically whispered it to me that I should turn on TBS.

For about 6-10 months after his passing, any big story broke, I reached for the phone to call him. It was a rough thing to break.

I too lost my Father almost a year ago and whenever a good football game was happening,he was my go-to for opinions/thoughts/smacktalk. I know how you feel man........

I live across town from my folks. I talk to my Dad every morning after work and usually go out to eat with them Saturday or Sunday night.

I almost never talk to them on the phone when I'm at school.

I talk to my mom through email 1-2 times a week.

I'm home for a week each semester, a month around Christmas, and for the summer from may-august.

Wow. I kinda feel guilty now. I haven't talked to my parents in almost a week and half. I try and call them once a week but its been tougher since school has kicked my *** the past month.

I always say I need to talk to them more but then I always forget to call them. Maybe I'll call them tonight.

I talk to my mom every day, my dad usually calls me on a daily basis, sometimes multiple times a day. Anytime anything big happens in the world of sports, he'll call me, or vice versa.

Hell, I live with my mom and she still calls me. When we're both home and in our rooms, she'll call me to ask me something as opposed to just walking 5 feet and opening my door. 95% of our communication is on the phone or texting.

As for my dad, I don't live with him, and I haven't talked to him since April. We usually talk/see each other two or three times a year. He only lives 15 minutes away, but we never really connected or anything.

I live about five minutes away from my parents. My mom will call me when she needs help with something which is usually once or twice a week. I usually go over to their house for family dinner on Sundays. I bowl with my dad in a league on Friday nights.
