I know what I'm thankful for today.

Among countless other things, I finally got a full article into the Boston Globe. I've been writing sports for papers for about 4 years, and I got a job with the Globe at the beginning of the school year (my freshman year in college.) I've written several pieces for the Globe, including a Sectional Final Volleyball match, but today I had more or less free reign and was assigned to cover the number one football team in the state. I got pretty excited and surpasses my word limit so I got some good chunks taken out and the editors simplified it a bit, but I'm pumped none the less. Thanks for letting me rant

Way to go, man! I'm a former newspaper reporter, and I remember what a thrill it was to get my first byline.

                  Take care,
