I understand his frustration, but it is your room too...this is all ish you just have to work out with him, but it is bullcrap if a roommate's gf is basically living in your dorm or something. It's one thing to be nice to a roommate, it's another to be used by him and treated like crap just so he can get laid.

Doesn't sound like he's your friend at all...when you're done rooming with him, think you'll ever hang out? If not, then f him. Be nice, etc, but don't let him run you out of your personal space.

I've never had this issue, I luckily ended up friends with roommates (and then lived in the fraternity), so we'd be nice to each other, say "I need the room" and it'd all work out. Doesn't sound like you guys get along well...Either you get stepped on and he gets his way, or you piss him off a bit by actually staying in your room.

First off, don't read his texts. That's not cool.

Second, most of the time random roommates in dorms suck. Mine was a kid from California. Talk about a culture shock. You just gotta deal with them.

Third, it sounds like his social life is busy. I think if yours was as well, there'd be alot less tension between you two.

It kinda sound like your roomate was maybe a bit correct. Go out and wax some girls, ull feel better
