No, that used to be my favorite show and I still cannot forgive ABC for moving it, changing its title, then ultimately canceling it!

I delivered pizza for 3 years while I was in college. Most money I could make working 20 or so hours a week. I'd average out to around anywhere from 12-16 dollars an hour with tips, commission, and my wage, which was 5.50/hr. That's after I gassed up at the end of the night. I had a couple nights where I made over 100 bucks in tips in 6/7 hours of driving. The most I made in a night was around 150 during the holiday season. I never felt in any danger delivering, however I have many many weird/cool experiences that come from it.

If there is anything the internet has taught me, it's that a Pizza delivery guy bringing over a Big Sausage pizza to some hot chick is usually a recipe for a memorable night.

I did it for 6 weeks once. One thing I remembered is late on Saturday night the tips were good because the drunk people would let you keep the change on a 20 because they did know better.

Why would you wanna ever work as a pizza delivery boy? Maybe a cook there but a delivery boy sucks, min wage, you pay for your own gas, occasional $1 tip, unsafety-ness of the job ugh. Not my cup of tea.

Actually, you get reimbursed for gas and I live in a very safe part of town. I wouldn't feel any danger at all. And I'd assume most people in this area give a decent tip.

It's a job. And it's a job where I can drive and listen to music. Two things I enjoy doing. I'd take this over having to deal with customers on a constant basis.

I spent a few years working at a pizza place, the nights that I delivered I easily doubled my hourly wage (if not more). Plus all of the delivery cash was tax free (bonus).

As someone who has delivered pizzas, how was your first couple of days? What should I expect when I go in on Tuesday?

I'd imagine they'd make you ride with someone for a day or two, getting a good feel of the job and what to do before throwing you to the wolves.
