    Re: Arcades

I used to love playing pinball machines, and still do. Back when I was a kid, I would always play the Batman pinball machine when I went to arcades.

Die Hard Arcade was fun but the Simpsons Arcade will hold a special place in my heart always.

LOL I remember a friend and myself beat the side-scrolling TMNT on NES, but it took us all day. We had to keep on pausing it so he could go eat lunch, and then dinner cause they didn't have saves back then. It was such an achievement to beat that game back then. Still to this day one of my favorite gaming moments in history.

            Re: Arcades

3 games that blew me away were:

M.A.C.H. 3 - This was a flight game that had real clouds, mountains, and landscapes in the background. Sick for it's time.

Double Dribble - Remember you had to move with the stick, and at the same time, repeatedly press the button to dribble. The first time I saw a close up dunk, I almost passed out.

Outrun - This was the first racer I saw where the track wasn't flat. It actually had hills. Sega was hot back in the day.

I used to play all those stupid things where you put a quarter in and try to win tokens by pushing them off the ledges.
